I recommend it, they do a good job, now they have a good team

We have just had our driveway done and I couldn't be happier with the job!! **** and his crew went above and beyond in getting the project done. I highly recommend you check this outstanding company out.

I have been trying to contact **** since May to finish work they started at two of my properties. We received quotes for 5 properties. They basically finished the big paying job, said several times they would be out to do the other jobs. Set a date at one point for one location and they didntt show. Havent been able to get **** to answer my calls, emails or text messages since June. Finally got him to answer when I called from a different number because there was a spot on our lot that was buckling. Said to send him pictures and hed send someone out that week. That was around the end of July. No sign of them and no answers since. Guess I will have to take other action if they dont fix it seeing as how the work was supposed to come with a one year warranty, it was barely three months later that the buckle appeared. I had hoped to establish a good business relationship but thats not going to happen. Maybe this will get their attention.

I highly recommend this company their work is top notch and they did everything they said they was going to do.

**********On 7/3/2021 we received a quote from **** at Big City Asphalt for extending our existing driveway and parking area in front of a new detached garage being built at our home On 7/7, by email, I received clarification on some questions and advised we were accepting the proposal. At that time I was advised the work could be done about two weeks after notification of being ready. On 8/9 I advised **** by email that construction was nearly complete and should be ready for the asphalt work in about 1 1/2 weeks. (no response) On morning of 8/18 I called **** and asked when the work would be done. He said in about two weeks but he could call in the afternoon to determine actual schedule. (no return call) I called again morning of 8/19 and **** said he was busy and again promised to call that afternoon. (no return call) On 8/21 I sent an email asking whether of not if they still wanted to do the job and to please respond either way. (no response) I called **** 8/25 and was advised work might be done on Mon. 8/30 - if not expect about two weeks. (no further information was received) On 9/1 I left messages at the ** and IL phone numbers asking for dates work was to be performed. (no return calls or contact) On 9/16 I gave up on Big City Asphalt and approached a contractor doing another driveway in my neighborhood. He satisfactorily performed the job the next day.This company's website advertises it is a reputable company. A reputable company performs their commitments or at least explains why they no longer want to do the job - not just stop responding to calls and emails on a job they committed to do. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR MISREPRESENTATION, FALSE COMMITMENTS AND POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, THIS IS YOUR PLACE..
