I have put this off for some time now but can't rest until I get this off my chest and close this ugly chapter in my life. In September 2019 I hired Woods to prepare my crawlspace with encapsulation and a sump pump and later a dehumidifier. The first time it rained my crawlspace flooded in the same area that was my main reason for having this work done. Later, MY suggestion on how to fix the problem worked! Also, the water poured out of the pipes back into the pump because they weren't even glued together! Water constantly poured out of the Ice Guard. In November of 2020 they installed a yard drain. So many workers and supervisors were here but never fixed the end problem. In March of this year I made three calls for the drain line to be looked at and repaired. I discovered a hole in the ground and could see the white pipe! After making 3 appointments (had to cancel because of weather) a guy came here ALONE and I asked why did he not have help. He had to make a call to the office and tells me it would cost me around $1,000.00 to fix. No way was I going to give Woods more money to fix their installation mistake! I called another local company and got everything fixed the PROPER way! The white drainage pipe Woods put in the ground was about 1 and 1/2 inches below the ground and NONE of the pipes were GLUED together causing water to flow heavily from the hole in the ground! Very poor job from beginning to end lasting nearly 4 years and causing undue grief and more money to pay another company to properly fix Woods' horrible job! I kept written notes on everything and have many pictures of their disgusting work; therefore, I will definitely not recommend Woods Basement to anyone!!

A Woods Basement Waterproofing System was put in a home just prior to me purchasing. After 5.5 years my basement flooded. I paid a $144.00 for a service call as the warranty was 5 years. The "Tech" that came out indicated all three pumps, the battery, and the dehumidifier have failed. They quoted nearly 5k to replace them all. I declined and opted to handle myself.After testing the dehumidifier, it was determined to be just fine. No coolant issues. When I went to access the sump, I found the screws still had dirt caked in them. This indicated the "Tech" never even accessed the sump. When I did the troubleshooting on the pumps, I found the primary pump failed. The secondary pump just had a bad float. The battery backup and pump were fine. They battery ran dead from the battery-operated pump being used too long. The charger could not keep up. None of the alarms that were supposed to alert us to the issues sounded. As a result, 2 inches of water across the basement.Woods essentially sent a sales guy rather than a "Tech." I basically paid $144.00 for them to try to sell me an entire new system. AVOID these crooks! Their equipment is garbage, cheapest you can buy. Save your self the hassle and go elsewhere.

My grandma tried to cancel and they stated she would not get her deposit back of $3,000.00 but the portion she tried to cancel was $2,000.00. They are praying on people and getting over on them.

The company has been working on my basement waterproofing since September 2023. My walls have been open since the fall and they have yet to finish and it is almost March **** and they have been paid in full almost $34,000. They start and stop working and disappear for weeks and I have to consistently call to ask when they are coming back to remind them about my project. They had to redo part of what they put in the first time because the "waterproofing" was not done properly the first time. Now that they have corrected it, they have moved on to the drywall phase but that is taking forever. The white dust in my house is out of control because of the drywall work that was halfway completed. I just called them again to remind them and ask when they were coming back and I was told that they were finished. My husband had to call them back and upload photos of the halfway completed walls as proof. I have never experienced such lack of project managing before. I want the project to be completed so I can have my basement back. I do not like giving negative feedback but it has been since September!!!

We were impressed by thoroughness of our service technician *************************** in diagnosing our issues with our Triple Safe Sump System. He proposed some different options on the depth of the repair from the relatively minimal short term repair all the the way to the the longer term repair. He also diagnosed that our Sanidry system was losing effectiveness in removing excess moisture in the air in our basement by doing some air moisture testing. Again he proposed some solutions to correcting this issue also. All in all we were satisfied with his thoroughness in diagnosing and repairing our issues. ***** and *********************
