On 04/27/2022 we contracted with CA Jones, *** for the purchase of a home under construction. As per Addendum 'B" some options were included in the purchase price to include insulated garage doors for an increase in price of $720. In the middle of May non insulated garage doors were installed and we contacted CA Jones at this time. We met with ********, the CA Jones rep, at the property. We were told at that time their sub would replace the panels. On 06/15/2022 the item was put on the punch list. We closed on the house on 07/05/2022 and the missing insulated garages were moved to addendum "C" to be completed in 30 business days. We have since contacted them several times and were told they had a call in to ******** doors or would contact them again. We are getting nowhere. PROPOSED RESOLUTIONS: (1) CA Jones have their sub install the insulated doors as contracted. (2) We received 2 estimates so we can get the proper doors installed and lowest bid was $4282. Have ** Jones write ** a check for$4282 to replace the uninsulated doors with insulated ones as per contract.A refund of the $720 is not an option as this amount will not make us well.
