    I was a tenant of this company for one year in **********. I loved the house I was in and had no issues during my residency with the company. During my stay, there was only one “major” issue which was the sump pump going out in the basement (as they do) on a holiday weekend no less and the maintenance team was incredibly quick about helping me deal with that and get it resolved. My complaint comes in the aftermath of my time with them. I decided to move closer to work after a year (in the city) and so provided them notice 60 days before end of lease as requested. I wound up moving out five days prior to my lease end at their request to accommodate the new tenant coming in which was no problem. I cleaned and left all keys/garage openers as originally provided to me. I heard no complaints from ******** regarding the state of the home and as the new tenants were moved in, I assume everything was fine. I left that home on March 26th, 2022. It is now the end of October and I still have not received my Security deposit back. I have made multiple attempts to contact ******** and ******. At one point around August 8th, via email I was assured it would be processed within two days. I’ve never received anything and made multiple attempts to email and call again asking if I should be watching for a check. It is nearly 1,000 dollars assuming there were no damages needing repairs (which there were not to my knowledge), but I cannot get a response. This is incredibly frustrating and not a small amount of money. I don’t know what else to do.

    During my time leasing with them, I had no complaints! I had one incident with a sump pump going out and their maintenance staff was incredibly fast acting on a holiday weekend no less. Thankfully the only damage was to some minor belongings of mine in the basement. After ending my lease and moving out successfully (and a couple days early at their request for the next tenant), I have not enjoyed my interactions as much unfortunately. I moved out on 3/26/2022 (a full 5 days before end of lease) without any issues or follow up from the business. All keys and garage openers were returned, there was no damage to the residence and I received no contradiction to that. The new tenants moved in quickly. It is now October and I have not received my Security Deposit. I have attempted contact with both ******** and ****** with one response each in those near 7 months. I dislike being so persistently aggressive, but I see no reason I have no received my deposit. The single response I received from ****** via email said he would process within 2 business days of his response (Aug. 8th). I have seen nothing in the mail and verified that the address I provided to ******** was accurate. I have tried calls to the office and emails to no avail. I have filed in Small Claims Court at this time. I am very saddened by this as I would have lived there many years more, but relocated closer to work. I am hopeful this can be resolved quickly and easily as I found their company great during my residency.
