I first reached out to Savage Roofing on 4-1-22 to help me repair a leak in my roof that caused major interior damage in my home. Savage insisted on helping me obtain money from my insurance with Statefarm. When Statefarm finally sent money to get my roof and other associated damages fixed, Savage and their partner company Legendary Adjusting firm immediately insisted I pay them the money StateFarm provided along with my deductible. I vehemently refused so they convinced me to pay them have of the insurance RVC (the largest amount listed on the claim policy) $3,318.34. So I obliged, paying them the half as a downpayment.Instead of fixing the root of the problem- my roof, they focused on the inside of the house majorly cutting corners anywhere they could. When I insisted they please work on my roof before winter hits - that is when CEO ******************************* informed me that he refuses for his company to do partial patches of the roof - what insurance was covering, and insisted I finance with his company to have the whole roof completed instead. This happened 11/16/22- almost 3 months after insisting on taking **************** money. I asked why this was never mentioned before, but he said he was sorry that I'd either have to finance or he'd be backing out of our contract and issuing me a refund. I agreed to the refund and we hung up. He then turned around and claimed he never said that, even though I have a clear recording of him doing so. He is now trying to convince ********* that we are mutually cancelling our contract instead of admitting it was his idea after I refused to let him extort me. ****** and his staff are purposefully and willfully fraudulent, disgusting excuses for human beings, who constantly try to claim "religious" lives and sentiments. They knew the whole time they were never going to help me with my roof, and tried to take off with as much money as they could. I hope their company gets shut down so they can't do this to anyone else.

      Hello,

Yes. Weve been dealing with *********************** for months now.

Initially, her insurance company denied her THREE times and she was finally partially approved and has never paid her deductible, cashed the check from State Farm,
altered the letter of release from the insurance company and has still not paid for the remainder of the services for her interior work.

She has been harassing Savage Roofing on **************** and BBB and we are now **************** legally.

I am rejecting this response because:

1.) I paid exactly what was agreed upon to Savage / Legendary. I have proof via the signed contract, as well as front and back copies of the check Savage cashed.
2.) The amount of times StateFarm has denied the claim is neither here nor there.
3.) I did in fact alter the release that Savage wrote up because they were trying to lie to the insurance company and state our contract ended mutually when that is not the truth. ****** the *** pulled out of the contract when I refused to let him extort me for more money and get me to finance a whole roof repair through his company; which he knew I never wanted. (I have the phone recording between us as proof.)
4.) I have never been billed for any further services by Savage as they are now claiming. Savage didn't even finish the services listed in the contract. In fact, *** ****** verbally promised (and I have the phone recording as proof), to give me a full refund of the $******** I had already paid. Because as the ***, HE was denying our contract, my down payment, and thousands more. My down payment was *****. I paid them ********. So they did in fact receive a down payment PLUS  $2,318.34.
5.) I also received an apology text from ****** at 5:10 AM the day after I wrote truthful and heartfelt reviews warning other not to work with such a horrible company led by unscrupulous embarassments for human beings. He, again, promised me a full refund but ONLY if I took down my truthful reviews. I wouldve liked to have the money back, but I think it's more important others know that Savage is stealing both from their customers AND from the insurance companies.

      Sincerely,

      ***********************

      Complaint: 18435960

I am rejecting this response because:

Savage claims they are settling this with their lawyer. They are obviously in the wrong and acting illegally and unscrupulously. Not only did they back out of our contract after I refused to let CEO ****** extort me, but now I am being threatened with a lien put against my property and the people I know are being harassed by a collections agency. Savage is also refusing to release me from my contact and refusing to take themselves off of my insurance claim. Therefore not allowing me to get my roof fixed, and the tarp they put on in ***** is no longer there, allowing for further damage to my home. This company is an absolute nightmare and I ********************* loses his license.

      Sincerely,

Savage Roofing has been paid by my Allstate home owners insurance and me $14,261.50 (PAID IN ADVANCE) for storm damage and have NOT DONE ANY of the roofing and siding WORK and NO START WORK DATE scheduled yet (only put a tarp on my roof!).They take long or DONT RESPOND to my calls, emails, or texts. They draw up documents for the work, but then find a problem with them, and say they need to redo them. 4 times already! When I ask for a refund, cuz it doesnt seem theyre going to nor want to do the work, they say they CANT or that Ill HAVE TO GIVE THEM 30% of the money, even tho theyre the reason why Im wanting/needing to go with another company. They came out Feb ****. The rep ********************* said hes an in house adjuster with Savage Roofing and had me sign papers so they could talk to and work with my insurance. I asked of the different names in the papers, he said the adjusting part of Savage Roofing is called Legendary Adjusting. The logos look the same but 1 says Legendary Adjusting Firm, 1 says Savage Legendary Roofing, 1 says Savage Legendary Roofing and Solar, and also on the pages is Savage **************** (************************************************************ address on all/both). I dont know why Allstate PAID Savage Roofing Legendary Adjusting EVERYTHING IN ADVANCE but when I asked Allstate they talked as if this was fine. Both this company and my name were on the checks so I was told to sign the checks so they could get started on the work orders and work. Now months later NOTHING is DONE and NO one is responding to me. (The last contract was written on Oct ****. I was told Nov 321 Id be getting scheduled for a work start/build date. Im still waiting. I have no idea whats going on. Last I talked with Diago/them was Dec 121. My Dec 21 and Jan 22 calls, texts, emails have had no reply from them.) I WANT THE WORK DONE OR TO GET A REFUND so I can get someone else to do the work. Allstate paid $8944.92 on 4-27-21, and $5066.58 on 9-2-21, I paid $250 2-19-21.
