            This started Feb. 12,2024 with call to get service from Metro Handymen (Roofing) to do my roof with new shingles. **** from Metro Handymen came out to my house on Feb 12, 2024 to collect $4000 for materials and provide contractors invoice #***-2024 with details of each phase of the job. I paid $4000 on Feb. 12th through Cashapp and have receipt to prove. Called daily to see when they will return to do roof and **** stated when weather was better. Finally they returned on Feb. 16th and started the roof in the rear of the house. By end of the day **** stated he needed more materials and $1400 was provided at the time. Since Feb. 16th Metro Handymen has not returned nor provided any money back for incomplete job. I have shingles falling off the roof and not completed. Metro Handymen has not returned my calls or come back to complete the job. I am seeking some of my money back and for them to be reported so they cannot scam another person. They have scammed a few people if you check YELP under METRO HANDYMEN. PLEASE ASSIST ME. Flyers was placed on my house and others in neighborhood, seen flyers in gas station near home.

            This contractor stopped by to offer services on January 25, 2024! My husband negotiated with him on backyard concrete needed, including our patio! He immediately did partial work on the patio after collecting $1,000 cash. He explained there was some finishing to do with a coating but he needed to wait for better weather! He returned in March to collect more cash but for our driveway that he claimed needed a top coating. My husband and he agreed due to the rainy weather they would wait to complete the patio in March! Yet, many ****************** have been unanswered! Were anxious for completion to get our patio ready for the summer! This company is not trustworthy or reliable; just overall bad business practices. And the fact that they only accept cash, questions their authenticity. We would not recommend this company!
