0n 1/6/24 I brought my dog in for a wellness exam and heartworm test in order to obtain his regular yearly prescription for Heartguard plus. This vet required that my dog be sedated with ********* for his visits as they are afraid he might bite them during the exam. They sold me a bottle of 60 100mg Trazodone pills for $60. When I commented that the price seemed high, they said that they have their own in house and online pharmacy and that their prices are highly competitive with local pharmacies like ******* CVS, ********* etc. so I believed them and paid the bill. Still feeling oddly suspicious when I got home I called around and discovered that they charged me up to 10 times the normal local pharmacy price of the medication. ******** $6; ******* *$8; Meijer * $10.94; CVS *$15.33. Not only did they price ***** me to death, but they blatantly lied about it thus scamming me into believing they were a legitimate, competitive pharmacy. When I went back and complained, they said sorry, too late, no returns and no price adjustments. In my state its a very serious offense to financially take advantage of a senior citizen so Ill be filing regulatory agency complaints as well if this BBB complaint doesnt result in a resolution and fair restitution from the business.
