July 27, 2021, I purchased a motor from this Company actually contacted them about they charged me $6,995.00 sent me email and invoice paid thru paypal, then they contacted me and on July 29, 2021 i needed to pay an additional $1,588.77 for delivery and core deposit. Per **** I would receive approximately $1000 core deposit back upon return of core. Motor was received on August 12, 2021. I contacted them they said my 90 day warranty started then. Which it would be over November 10, 2021. My mechanic had been backed up he finally go to it October 11, 2021. It was horrible nothing like the pictures on website, it was the incorrect motor, for what i purchased, it was rusted had trash thrown in box with it. I contacted ******************* October 12, 2021 he said he would send me the shipping information to have picked up and issue me a refund. The motor was picked back up 10-13-21. it took me calling emailing etc i finally received the first refund of the initial payment$6,995.00 on December 2, 2021. I have emailed and called multiple times to be told today by the receptionist that was nice enough to at least return me call and i'm thankful for that, the additional $1,588.77 was for shipping to me and back to them and i would not receive it back and supposedly they have resold the motor and it is running in anther vehicle. I have dealt with a business like this that will not call and or email you back in months time, etc. I believe they should refund all of my money due to what they sold me was not what they advertised.

      Hello,

In the event that a buyer receives an item they feel is not as described, we will over ride our policies of no returns, and accept a return, if it is within 30 days of the original purchase. If this customer purchased on July 27th, they would have had until August 27th. As stated above, the buyer states they received the product on Aug 12th, but waited a full month to request a return...

We again seem to have strayed from our 30 day policy and accepted and paid for the return freight shipping, from what I can see in the complaint. Freight shipping  is very expensive.

In the rare event a buyer wishes to return an item, we do not now, nor have ever paid for return shipping.

I have attached the original invoice, that ********************* Docusigned, agreeing to the terms of the sale. On of the terms being All Sales Final.

Bottom line, we refunded the buyer for the amount of the engine, but will not cover ancillary fees to return a perfectly good product. Used parts are "used", and not in new condition as the buyer wished it to be.

      Regards,

      ***********************

I am rejecting this response because:

Yes the time frame he has stated is correct but due to one i first purchased and spoke to him it was $6,995.00  then i was contacted back and told shipping and core price was separate i was charged a additional $1,588.77  and i would receive the $1,000.00 back on the core when it was returned.
The total out of my pocket was $8,583.77.  I was told on the paperwork i was receiving a 6.6 LML Duramax Engine.  Yes i was aware it was used so it being rusted some i understand but the picture on the website was very misrepresentation.  I contacted them regarding with the 90 day warranty started, gentleman was very nice and i told him i was trying to get it installed and it was being put up in my warehouse until i could get my mechanic on it.   Also another issue was i ordered this and have the final payment transaction of July 29, 2021 i did not receive the motor until August 12, 2021.
When the motor was finally accessed still in my 90 day warranty it was discovered that is was a LGH out of a van and or a light duty truck.  No what i had purchased.  I contacted Diesel Redemption spoke with **** told him the motor wouldn't work it was the wrong motor for my vehicle and not what was sold to me.  He apologized told me he would be sending me shipping label and have it picked up and was so sorry about the mix up.  He told me once he received the motor and seen it wasn't damaged etc he would refund my money.  I have a email from him on 10-27-21 stating that he received the motor and would get it checked in and get me refunded.    Between 10-27-21, multiple phone calls on my part and emails i finally received the initial refund of the $6,995.00 on 12-2-21 over a month of this company ignoring me.  I then emailed back in and called to be ignored regarding the remainder to finally i was told on 12-16-21 by a receptionist that the remainder money would be kept for shipping.  I told her that is wrong.  Considering they misrepresented what they sold me and i understanding the shipping is expensive but it should "COST ME" $1,588.77.  If anything refund me my core fee of the motor you got back. I was told they couldn't help me anymore.  So basically yes they paid for the shipping to me and back.  They got the misrepresented motor and told me they had resold it and it was running in another vehicle.  Which is fine, i never said the motor was damage, it just would not fit in the vehicle that THEY SAID IT WOULD AND IT CLEARLY STATES ON THE INVOICE.     I would like them to return me the $1,000.00, due to there misrepresentation of the purchased item.

      Sincerely,

      *******************************
