on January 9 2023. *********************** entered into an agreement for roof replacement with GSD CONSTRUCTION>. The roof was completed in December 2023. The sales person ******************* fl# CCC1332278 informed the seller and the real estate agent that the warranty can be transferred to a new owner.!2/26/24 *********************** placed ******************************************** on the market andn it has sold and closed with new owners. The new owners are trying to transfer the warranty and now GSD CONSTRUCTION tells us that the warranty can't be transferred. We are looking for GSD CONSTRUCTION just to back up their work. and put the warranty in the new owners namesInitial Complaint

There was a hail storm in June 2023 that struck my ****** home and caused damage to my roof. A GSD Construction sales representative *************************** knocked unsolicited at my door to perform an assessment of the damage and indicated I would need to get the roof replaced. I agreed to work with GSD to get the repairs completed after filing a claim with my insurance company. The contract with GSD was signed on 6/22/2023. A supplemental claim was approved on 11/27/2023. Funds of $11,898.90 from the initial claim were sent to GSD on 8/8/2023. After contacting GSD several times since 11/27/2023 to try and get placed on their schedule for the repairs to begin I have been getting nothing but excuses or ignored responses from GSD as to when the work will actually commence. Thus far the most up to date response I have received was that repairs would begin in January or February when the weather is warmer. I do not have much confidence at this point however that the work will begin in this timeframe when I am only getting ignored responses to my text messages from the employee, ****, now assigned to my case. Previously ************************* was assigned to the case but he also does not reply to my calls or texts. At this point I would like to see if the BBB can help with getting GSD to commit to an actual date that I can expect the work to begin.Business response
