We currently operate two locations and hired Entrenomics to help us come up with a business plan for folding them into one larger location. Most of our issues stem from our rapid growth over the last six plus years. Our only focus has been increasing our ability to bid new projects and making sure we had the manpower to staff them. We gave very little thought to any logistical or cash flow issues we may run into. This as you can guess was shortsighted and has caused us plenty of headaches. Mr. Olsen and his team came in and helped determine where we fell short and developed plans and strategies for us so that we could consolidate our resources into running everything out of a single much larger location. This allowed us to use our resources in a much more efficient way. They were very knowledgeable, professional, courteous, and went out of their way to coordinate with our staff. This went a long way to getting buy in from our employees and made the whole process easier.

Entrenomics came in with an excellent analysis and plan for moving us forward. Right from the start they were able to attack some of our most glaring issues and came up with ideas that were both beneficial to our company and able to solve those issues. They helped us overcome some pre-existing issues having to do with the core culture of our staff. We could have just cleaned house which may have been the easier but short-sighted approach. Instead Entrenomics helped us evaluate what was causing these issues with our staff and what could we do to address them. Our consultant George went out of his way to work with us and our staff to overhaul most of our procedures and policies with regards to staffing and scheduling. With his help we were able to figure out that most of our headaches were caused from miscommunications in regards to scheduling and manpower on our jobsites. Accountability is much more in our vocabulary as is goals and overall morale. It has only been a few months since we implemented most of the changes and we can see a distinct turn around in how smooth things are running and a significant drop in labor overhead across all job sites.

Our experience with James and Lisa has been nothing short of outstanding. We started off with an initial assessment which confirmed many issues and problem areas we already knew about. This at least gave us a starting point and a priority list of which issues to tackle first. One of our more glaring issues was our inability to hold our employees accountable from a time management standpoint. They started off by helping us streamline our procedures and developing an effective reporting process that would allow us to better track our employees progress on a project-by-project level. Prior to this we relied on GPS location reports for our trucks and vehicles. This was not an effective way to track manpower or projects as it was not in real time and we had no real way to verify the data on an employee level. Additionally, James provided valuable insights into areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities across our entire company. This focused on way more than just labor and as we also delved in time and material cost and the actual bid process itself. The changes we have implemented have fundamentally changed how we do business. For the first time in many years, I have a positive outlook on our future and our ability to grow. None of this would have been possible without James and the rest of his team.
