I took my car to Golf Mill Auto Center on 01/06/2024 for repairs after being advised that replacing certain parts would resolve the existing mechanical issues. Trusting their expertise, I authorized the repairs and paid for the service. However, upon receiving my car, it was evident that the problem persisted. I returned the vehicle multiple times, each time being assured that the issue was fixed, only to find it unresolved.Seeking a more reliable diagnosis, I consulted a dealership known for their qualified technicians. After a thorough examination, they provided a list of necessary repairs that differed significantly from what Golf Mill Auto Center had suggested and worked on. These discrepancies indicated potential shortcuts taken by Golf Mill Auto Center, possibly to maximize profits at the expense of effective service.Armed with this new information, I confronted Golf Mill Auto Center, explaining the dealerships findings and insisting on proper repairs. They agreed to replace the parts as recommended by the dealership. Despite this agreement, the ongoing issues with my car suggest that the necessary work was still not performed. When approached, their suggestion was to simply continue driving the vehicle, claiming the problem would resolve itself over time.Months later, the issue remains unresolved. Despite having paid both the initial repair fee and additional costs for dealership diagnostics, Golf Mill Auto Center has neither fixed the problem nor offered a refund. Their refusal to address the problem effectively or provide financial restitution leaves me in a difficult position, necessitating further action to seek a proper resolution. They also made me pay cash at the time after the repairs not allowing me to pay by card. When I tried to pay by card, they refused but I couldn't do anything since the repairs were completed. I paid 2800 dollars to golf mill auto center and additional 175 dollars to the dealership.Business response

To Whom It May ************** Vehicle was brought to Golf Mill Auto with an issue of the timing chain. Per our records, timing chain was replaced on 01/06/2024. At this time car was running without issues. On 02/20/2024 The owner of the vehicle brought it back and requested to install front wheel hub bearing, customer brought is own part. On 02/26/2024 Customer returned and requested to replace transmission fluid service, customer brought his own parts. On 03/07/2024 Customer returned and requested to replace the engine water pump and again he brought his own part. There Was Never Any Mention Of An Issue With The Timing Chain. For The Record, There Was Also A 90 Days Warranty. If There Are Still Any Problems With The Timing Chain, We Can And Will Rectify This Issue. Additionally Cash Payment Was Offered By The Customer For A Discount Which We Allowed. We Never Decline Or Force Payment Of Any Sort. We Stand By Our Work As Proud BBB Members With An Excellent Rating. Thank Your For You Time.
