      On June 15th, 2023, I hired a repairman by the name of ********************* to repair my central A/C; beforehand I tried explaining to him that the direct is*** could be the coil as previous repairmen have tried and failed to fix it. Mr.******** got agitated and stated he has decades of experience and that his work is his own; he doesn't care what the previous repairmen have done.I paid $800 for him to fix the A/C and he gave me a 3-month warranty. However, the A/C only worked for a few days until it stopped cooling and was back to being broken. We contacted Mr. ********* to which he returned 3 times to my home to check on the A/C and added gas. On the third time he returned, without telling me his plans, he changed the coil of A/C inside our home. The A/V worked for a couple of days until it stopped working again.We spoke to him again but now he refuses to fix this is*** and responded in a bad manner. On August 9th, he came by my house without warning and came to check the central A/C, I tried explaining things that if he wasn't going to be able to fix this, he could atleast refund me part of the money I gave him to seek others for help. He grew angry, stating "whatever, *** me", and now completely refuses to fix his job, is ignoring me, and didn't give any of my money back. The A/C is still broken and I had to install window A/Cs; all of this happened during the duration of the warranty. Now I'm seeking what can be done and I'm submitting this complaint to report him for fraude and see if I can get anything back.

      Yes, I worked on the ********************* AC central unit. On Jun 2023 I changed his  AC compressor 
      and when I was going to do that ********************* was 100% aware that his old AC compressor is as dead as it gets. And this is what I charged him $800 for.?(Changing AC compressor and charging it with *****) Shame that he is not mentioning this fact in his note.  And my compressor works fine till this day.  Then other issues came up with Freon leaks in the system that had nothing to do with my work. I volunteered 30 hours of labor and a lot of materials in this project. And the system is working now . Not perfectly but it works.

      I am rejecting this response because: ************** Mr. ******** is not telling the full truth. Since the beginning we've attempted to explain to him the issue with the A/C with the leakage and the coil but he has ignored us until he found the issue of the leak later when he changed the coil himself. He promised that he'd fix the central A/C and that it wouldn't have any issues $800. Unfortunately thay didn't happen and he continued to put his work into it.

      Also, the machinery he put doesn't work, it takes several hours for the A/C to cool, the coil that he puts in still leaks, and as it turns out the temperature on that is inverted (pipes under the coil freezes, it was left as mess).From this, he just took my $800 and left his job as it is.

      This is not true that I did not listen to ********************* about possible leaks in the ** coil. I did and I did some tests on my side to detect leak, but the test came out negative. By the way ******************* at that time was stating that the leak is under the flour in the Freon  line set. And I checked that too and ********************* well awear of all that.
      Let ************** again I charged ******************* for changing dad compressor and  making necessary tests  and filling system with Freon $800 and my compressor works just fine.   After that I'd spend 30 hours more on his project witch make my loses approximately $1500 (including materials)  . Did I ask ******************* for more money? Answer is no. When I figured out that said project not going well I offered ******************* to put in a whole new system for half price. First he agreed and then decided to sue ****** style="color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: small;">Now ******************* is stating that my ** coil is leaking.
      When I was last there I put gauges on the compressor and detected no leak judging on pressure. Of course ******************* knows better. He sow some ice on suction line close to the ** coil. The problem is that light frost on suction line can be caused by a dozen other reasons.
      One more time I am stating that at the time of my last visit the Mr ******** property system was working, not perfectly but 100 times better than at my first visit.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      The fact of the matter is that the A/C is still not fixed and not cooling well; even with all that he is stated. He gave his word that it would be fixed with the compressor and we thought that it would end there. Unfortunately it did not, and Mr. * still didn't deliver. The expenses came from his own volition. Like * said before, we tried to explain to him that the issue was internal with the coil and below; that would've saved us both some time but unfortunately it was not that way.

       

      For him might seem better than the first visit now but it just looks like it we went backwards, the temperatures are inverted and the "new" coil he put is aged and leaking as mentioned from another repairment we solitcited to inspect the thing. The pipe under the coil freezes in under 20 minutes. At this point we just want a portion of the money back, at best half if not then less. The machine is still not operating as it should be and we're still in square one.
