Thank you for your feedback, it is unfortunate that we were unable to complete the job for you, but our company reserves the right to withdraw from any contract if the circumstances do not allow us to safely follow through to the absolute best of our abilities. Due to the working conditions of the roof it was deemed that it was not in the company's best interest to continue with the contract. Thank You.

I had a roofing job (new roof ) done in 9/2020 by Advanced Team. I just found out last month when the gutters were being replaced that they cut corners around the gutters when the shingles were replaced. Pictures attached. But when I contacted them on 7/17/21, through their representative, *****************, with the incomplete job done, I was told, "Hello,I just sent it to them again ************************************************************************************* know of remaining due to existing custom gutter system." That's ********************* deduction, as he didn't get back to me with Advanced Team's response. But if that's the case, why was I not notified then and how come some parts were removed without interference, but not replaced? I'm not satisfied with the job done and I need them to come back and complete the job, please.Thank you.

Advanced Roofing was contacted for a roofing and gutter project on your home. We were hired to do the roofing on 8-5-20 but the gutter proposal was declined by the homeowner. The roof was completed on 9-15-20 while the gutters remained for another contractor complete. The existing gutter system prevented Advanced from seeing the existing courses of roofing installed behind the mansard flashing with removing the gutter system. Advanced Reinstalled the new roofing shingles where the old roofing was installed on the outside of gutter flashing. Advanced was not aware of any issues with the roofing until 7-17-21 when the homeowner had the gutters replace by another contractor. The only other issue we that was brought to our attention was on 6-21-21 a small roof leak in the kitchen. Advanced sent out our service tech the very next day to investigate the issue. He found that the leak was occurring above on metal widow capping that was not part of the scope of work performed by advanced and was not pert of the contracted work. He made a temporary repair and the homeowner was altered of the issue and was told that this metal should be replaced.

I am rejecting this response because: In practice, it's the duty of the roofing contractor to remove whatever is in the way to complete the roofing job or at least notify the homeowner. Giving an excuse that the "existing gutter system prevented Advanced from seeing the existing courses of roofing installed behind the mansard flashing with removing the gutter system" does not show professionalism. And again, how were they able to remove some parts of the shingles behind the gutters and not able to replace them? Or did they stop because they felt it's more work or because I didn't engage their services for the gutters? Or they didn't know the gutters will be replaced this soon? Because if the gutters were not replaced no one but them would have known that the shingles behind gutters were not replaced. And why didn't they inform me that they were unable to replace the shingles because the gutter system was in the way. They know they should have done better; and there's another part of the roof I realized was not replaced too. Picture attached. All I'm asking is for them complete the work.

      Thank you.

      Sincerely,

      Immaculata Egwu

Home owner was made aware that this was an issue prior to starting job. We will not be performing any additional work and consider this case closed.

I am rejecting this response because: This is not true, and *****************, Advanced representative knows that. He never mentioned this was an issue. He only offered to replace the gutters too, if I was interested, and I was not in a position to do that then. And according to the the contractor that replaced the gutters, it's the duty of the roofing contractor to remove and reattach any existing system during the job. I don't understand why Advanced is making this an issue. Unless they are indirectly fighting this because I didn't utilize their services eventually to replace the gutters. How do they expect another company to complete what they started? I don't think I should be punished for putting my trust in them.

      Thank you.

      Sincerely,

      Immaculata Egwu.
