We had Zach from Suburban Tile and Flooring tile our bathroom, including the shower. The initial work was performed in February of 2021 and was seemingly done perfectly. However, a few months later the shower started leaking into our basement due to a problem with Zach not correctly sealing the drain. He asked us to purchase materials which he promised to reimburse us for. Zach returned to fix the issue and had to replace the drain and some surrounding tile. In doing so it created uneven, jagged tiles and it caused issues with water from the shower draining, it pools since the tile around the drain is higher. Also, a drain was installed that did not match the original we had purchased. Zach ordered a new drain and said he would replace it when it arrived, he'd file down the tiles and fix the pooling water. When he finally came back he did replace the drain but again with an insufficient type, the pooling problem has not been fixed, our basement ceiling still has a hole from the repair and we have not been reimbursed for the materials as promised. During this entire ordeal it has been almost impossible to talk to Zach. He does not answer his phone, his voicemail is always full so you cant leave a message and he does not return texts. We wrote an email to Zach's personal account as well as his business account letting him know we would be contacting the BBB and we still haven't heard anything.
