I am 88 years old and was involved in an accident on December 21, 2022 while driving my 2015 Jeep Cherokee in the ***************. The front left axle broke while the car was in motion, and the vehicle flipped on its side. State ********************** (State Farm), who has been insuring my family for over twenty years, was contacted right away, and I was told to have the car towed to a body shop of my choice and State Farm would pay the cost. I chose M.A.C. Network, **** (M.A.C.) in ****************, **., and the vehicle was towed there on December 22, 2022. M.A.C. was paid $7,000 on January 13, 2023 for vehicle parts based on the December 29, 2022 estimate of record.Supplement #1 was written by State Farm on May 16, 2023 and M.A.C. received payment from State Farm of $2,104.08 on May 30, 2023. Supplement #2 was written by State Farm on June 8, 2023 and M.A.C. was paid by State Farm $5,671.03 on June 9, 2023. M.A.C. made an additional request for another Supplement of Record on July 5, 2023 and that is when State Farm made the decision to consider the vehicle a total loss. When State Farm tried to get the vehicle moved to its storage free location, M.A.C. said there was $22,000 in storage fees.M.A.C. has been charging storage of $125 a day, since December 22, 2022, for a vehicle that he has been working on and receiving progress payments from State Farm. *******************************, the Owner, has refused to release the vehicle until his erroneous $22,000 storage bill is paid. In addition, he has refused to negotiate the cost of storage with State Farm. ****************** called me recently to tell me he was going to file the necessary paperwork with the State of ******** claiming my vehicle has been abandoned, and he will obtain title to my vehicle to sell it himself. I have not abandoned my vehicle, and have Police Report to prove it.Initial Complaint

MAC network an auto repair shop located in ********************* and owned by *************************** still has not finished the repairs on my car and has not given me a date or time frame that my car will be repaired. The shop has had my car since November of 2022. They continuously tell me it will be done by the end of the month and its been since November. In November he said that he went on vacation and it would be done by December. The end of December came and he said it would be done by January. In January he said that he contacted my insurance claiming that there was more issues that needed to be repaired. Now they are not giving me a timeline of when it will be done. They have received $10,050.39 to repair my car and its been months without a date of when the car will be repaired.
