    Benjamin Heating & Cooling Inc. listed on Work Order located at ************************************************************************ aka "*** * aka *********************** came to my home in ************ ******** on May 20, 2022 to install a new Carrier Central Air Unit which he verbally agreed via phone on May 19th to arrive at 9am with the Unit to install. Yet, he did not arrive with any Unit at all and stated that he wanted to disconnect the old unit before he went to pick up the Carrier Unit we agreed upon which I confirmed with him again on May 20th before he left and he assured me again (as he did on May 19th) that he only used ***************** and Carrier and that he would deliver the Carrier Unit (same brand as my old unit) as promised. Mr. *** also stated that the entire job would only take 3 hours, yet he arrived two hours later with a generic brand called *****. I immediately told him after he took it out of his truck and brought it to the patio that this was not the unit we agreed on and that the correct unit was the upgraded efficiency Carrier A*C unit he promised to install and I just refused to accept this unit; yet Mr. *** still attempted to get me to accept this unit. Before Mr. *** left to pick up the generic unit he also ripped my unit out (leaving me with no heat or **********existing health issues). My Carrier Brand AC Unit (which I currently had for 20 years) was in good working order and cooling) Mr. *** agreed to put it back together but instead went to his truck and drove off. It will cost $100-$4000 to restore my unit which includes replacing the **22 refrigerant. A stop payment was placed on the check ($1500 he requested for deposit (which he cashed at Currency Exchange as my bank would not honor it) after I refused to give him the full $3000 for the job. I have numerous text messages to support the initial agreement.

    This company sold us their ***************** this morning and made an appointment to fix our heat that isn't isn't working (in 27 degree weather), and completely no-showed. We have three kids, so it's essential that we get our heat back on. I would not recommend them.Additionally, they use a company called ********************** that manages their phone calls, and they were very unhelpful when trying to resolve this issue. We kept getting promises that somebody would call us back, which has now happened 4 times without any return calls.
