June 20, 2024- Spent $55.00 My 15 yo daughter went down to get nails done on her birthday. Her nails were complete but pointing extremely high off her nail bed. They had glued the nail pointing up so there was a huge gap and any push would essentially pull her nail off. We kindly asked for them to be redone and the owner became aggressive and violent with my daughter. The owner got in her face and was yelling at her. She then grabbed her hand very aggressively and swung it on the table. I then asked her to remove her hands and demanded a refund. We had to call the police. They expressed how they are there alot and would try but pretty much we were out our money. There wasn’t anything they could really do. The police did a great job and expressed how bad they felt. I guess we aren’t the first people to experience this. This business needs to be removed from East Peoria. It does not belong in the levee district! After researching, it seems as though this experience has happened many times . The police are there often due to the way in which customers are treated by staff. This seems to be a huge customer service concern. It is displayed among their reviews online by many many people in our community.

I received a pedicure from Diva Nails on March 9, 2024 around 12 PM. I bought the basic pedicure. When she was scrubbing my feet, she scrubbed so hard that my foot started bleeding, and she continued scrubbing. Once she realized the blood wasn’t going to stop, she used her own finger to stop the blood. Then, she splashed the water that my feet and other ingredients had been soaking in, on the wound. She then put “nick relief” powder on top but left it exposed and did not put on a bandaid until I asked. I didn’t even receive the full service due to my foot being injured. She informed me that I would still have to pay. I didn’t tip, but still paid the full amount. I went home in a lot of pain and put antibiotic cream on the wound. I am hoping it does not get infected. However, they called another customer back to my seat as soon as I left. There were no cleanings of the tools I bled on or the sink. The person that was after me is at risk of infection. I am assuming that I also am at risk of infection if they do not clean tools.
