My check has been cashed and not applied to my account due to what they say they are short staffed. I have called numerous times and been told to wait until I receive a collection notice. I have very good credit and do not want this to go to collections. The bill is now threatening collections.Business response

Patient accounts manager spoke with the patient. There was an error with how the self-pay payments were posted. The patient accounts manager explained that no accounts were being sent to collections at this time and apologized for the error. Patient accounts manager corrected the issues and will notify patient. Patient seemed to be satisfied with phone call.Initial Complaint

I went to get some blood work done, I had insurance. They entered a wrong code for the blood work. I reached out to them to talk to someone and I was told someone would be in contact with me, but no one would ever call back . My insurance company even sent them three notices and no one responded to the notices to put in the correct code so the insurance could be billed. The insurance stated that they put a universal code when it should have been a specific code for blood work. Now they have sent the bill to collection stating I owe $553.00 when this could have been avoided. I would feel like I should not have to pay for something that is not my fault when my insurance can pay for it.Business response

The issue was investigated and resolved. The customer was notified that the billing issue has been adjusted off. At this time, we believe the issue is resolved.Customer response
