      I gave this business my iPad to have the battery replaced. When I got it back, I found damage around the home/fingerprint ** and eventually discovered the ** no longer worked. They told me it was broken and damaged when they got it.I took it to the Apple Genius Bar and they said my model wasnt designed to be opened so they must have caused the problems by forcing it open.I relayed that message and they continued to say it had arrived damaged..

      *************************** is a tax cheating lying thief that got caught stealing. I trusted all of the FAKE ****** REVIEWs and this place is a scam. THE FAKE ****** REVIEW's are what brought me to this store. Why do you need to purchase FAKE ****** REVIEWS? What are you hiding?They had my iPhone over 9 weeks and instead of fixing a small issue they broke it all completely. They said they would give me a good deal instead just kept me in a waiting game. *************************** the so called tech is a liar and thief. After he broke my iPhone said he didn't want to deal with it no more. Now I lost all my contacts and photos. Then he charged me $69.99. This man is a thief.*************************** is a tax cheating lying thief who doesn't understand American values.       Bens Wireless, Elgin, had a contract to repair the screen for a S20 FE 5G mobile phone for $149. I made an appointment for 10 AM at the store in Elgin. At the appointment I was informed that the screen would need to be ordered. I checked with the store on July 30th and made arrangements to bring the phone on Aug 2nd for repair. The price I was quoted was higher. They now wanted $164.99. When I picked the phone up after repairs, I was charged $499.99 plus tax. Since the repair had already been done, I had been without my phone for almost one week. However, after checking the next day Aug 3rd, I see that the contractual price remains $149. I am requesting that the price difference and associated sales tax be refunded to me to match what they quoted. They still refuse to give my phone back even though I already paid $164.99 and they changed the price without notice.

      Thanks for bring this concern to our attention after clear fully looking at the complain and after doing research we couldn't find any customer or invoice which matches the criteria of the complain however we will more then happy to assist the customer if the customer can provide some sort of proof they they did business with use a receipt would be really helpful. we also tried reaching out the customer on the given phone number which is *************) but look like the number belongs to a ********************************. However we thinks its a fake complain Please advice the customer to provide a proof of purchase.

      Took in my phone to have the screen replaced to BENS WIRELESS, I was never called to be given updates..once the part came in my phone was "fixed" but they made damages "on accident" *************************** scratched my phone and offered me $5 off. It had been a month since I dropped off my phone so I accepted the so called discount. When I picked up my phone I tested out features and noticed my camera wasn't working. *************************** said he would reinstall software and call me back. Later on I am told my phone needs to have the camera replaced and wiring (2 components are needed) and I have to pay additional to fix it l.. I argued that my camera was working fine when I took it in, after our argument I was told it would be fixed at no extra cost. One week later I am called to be informed that they no longer have availability to order the part and will not be fixed. Manager named *************************** called me after I asked for assistance, his customer service is awful..he told me they could remove the screen put the old one and give me my phone back if I refused to pay. I told him my phone now was scratched and had a non functioning camera. I didn't want to argue any longer I accepted his so called discount and took my phone elsewhere. I took it to another shop, they fixed the issue without an hour, my camera did not need to be replaced all it needed was 1 simple wire replaced!!! How can this not have been caught and fixed by their techs???!! They kept my phone for a month! 2 to 3 guys worked on it and none of them could figure out a simple cable issue.

      To Whom It May ****************************** thank you for reaching out to us about this complaint, however, we believe it to be categorically false and do not recall these events occurring at all. *********************** was an ex-employee of ours and her departure from the company was on great terms. She handled herself completely professionally and we thanked her from doing so.

       

      The email account associated with this complaint is not one which belongs to *********************** and is never one we used when contacting her. Moreover, the email associated with the complaint starts with "monkey" illustrating that it may have been created recently to concoct this false experience about our business. 

       

      Over this summer we have been dealing with an individual using names of our current and ex-employees and besmirching the name of our business online as well as revealing personal information about myself. We are currently engaged in a lawsuit with this individual and believe it to be very likely that he created this temporary email and false complaint the BBB received.

      on Thursday April 21st, 2022 I came into the location at 11:00 to have my phone's screen replaced. My phone had a dead pixel due to a minor fall and the screen was replaced totaling $326. When I got home the phone was in good condition and working order. the only issues I had was that I could see dried up bonding glue on the bottom of the back end of my phone but I didn't think anything of it. Today on 06/15 2022it is still not working. the screen used is a cheap after market screen. I called *************************** at Bens Wireless and I was informed that the phone had a 1 year warranty and that I should be able to get in fixed free of charge. When I went to the store the worker refused to fixed my device and said it wasn't covered with a warranty which is not true. I called back customer service to complain but they also refused to fix my device and tried to offer to fix it for a discounted price which I did not agree to.mi feel like the screens that they are providing are cheap products sold for more than what they are worth. I would like to either have my phone fixed free of charge or a full refund be issued to be because I feel like I have been cheated out of almost 330 dollars. Should have stayed away when I saw the owner was arrested for stealing and not paying taxes

All repairs come with a 30 day warranty by manufacture that's why we offer that to our customers.       1) my iPad Pro's battery is dead ( do not take charge, by experience the battery is dead), so I searched online and got the Bens Wireless from *************************** shipping label to ship my iPad to them to diagnosis . It is shipped by ***** on 3/28/2022 2) *************************** received on 3/29/2022. This company has confirmed it 3) Nobody from this company contacted me for any status. They have online Support chat so I contacted them on 4/6/2022. I was told they had tried several times to contact the store, unable to reach them. This case was referred to their Resolution Team and I was told they would contact me in 1-2 business days. 4) I still did not receive any response. So I contacted them again on 4/9/2022. Same mode things - I was told their Team would respond me soon. After that, I received email from them ( 4/12/2022 ) they said they were investigating their email reply is attached on this file. 5) 4/13/2022 I received the call number regarding to my iPad status, left a voice mail , asked me to call back. 6) 4/14/2022 - I called back several times , each time has this answering machine message : " This mail box is full and no space to take messages. ' 7) 4/15/2022 - I tried to call again - same answering message from the phone. 8) 4/14/2022 and 4/15/2022 - I emailed to report this Updated status to *************************** Resolution Team, nobody responded to my email yet 9) I need this iPad Pro for my ** trip on next month. I want it back please stop stealing peoples property.

      IF the system allows it, I would give it Zero stars. On 07/13/2021,I went to the store on Manchester road to fix my broken iPhone 8.Later when I picked it up, I was told for an unknown reason the Home button was not working anymore (It was working when I gave it to them) and the edge of the screen is not sealed very well( they said it was possible because the iPhone was bent), so the guy offered me a free charge of the service. I was totally fine with that. Unfortunately, they did not take the charge $96.95 off, on the contrary, they charged me TWICE for a bad service which I found out on 02/2022, half a year later. So I called the store, and I was told to dispute it from my bank end because they couldn't find the transaction from their end.But my bank refuses to dispute it because it has passed the dispute time frame. Then I went to the store and talked to *************************** and showed him the transaction on my bank statement.

      I took my phone to the store Bens Wireless in Elgin. They told me I needed a motherboard and they can't get the part and to prepay. I prepayed and they ran off with my money. I cancelled my service with them. They refuse to give refund.
