      Oct 2 2023 CALLED Mr ********************** to come out because I was washing clothes and when I went into laundry room the floor was flooded. They came out put the camera down the pipe from the clean out in front yard said we had a broken pipe. We asked where and they said didn't know. Brought in a machine and started walking around they said it was in bathroom going into the storage room. They would have to ********************* the floor the cost would be ******** total so we agreed..we gave them ***** that was Monday. They came back Thursday and **** hammered the floor then left. Said they would be back the next day didn't show up. We called another plumber they came out Mon. Put the camera down said we were scammed no broken pipes. They didn't need to ********************* the ****.The problem was the pipe in laundry room above the floor. The Inspector said these people have got to be stopped they are doing this to alot of Seniors and they don't want them in our village. He said ours was a easy fix and what they did to us was not necessary. We had to pay this other company to fill in the floor that *** ********************** did. Cost us ******** dollars more. I have been calling Mr. ********************** to get my $5,600.00 back but won't give it back

      To whom it may concern,

      In order to issue a refund and we are happy to do so, however we will need proper documentation. 

      We are okay giving money back but you need to accommodate us and provide clarity of what was exactly done. 

      The plumbing company and yourself are not giving us a clear response so that way we can issue a refund.

      We are requesting a detailed breakdown invoice from the plumbing company and any other companies that went to this address. 

      We are happy to do the right thing, but you are making it impossible to do that

      We have already provided the documentation that is being asked for. I have attached the same documentation to this message. This is a full sales receipt and note of what work was completed by J+S Plumbing, to fix what Mr. ********************** had done.

      There is no other documentation available, and J+S Plumbing has stated the same.

      I am writing to address your concerns and provide further information regarding the matter you raised with BBB. We appreciate your decision to involve a third party in order to seek a resolution, and we want to assure you that we take your concerns seriously.

      Throughout the process, our office team has maintained open lines of communication with you,both during and after the work was carried out, in an effort to address your concerns. We were pleased to offer you a refund for the work that was not completed and expressed our willingness to provide a full refund if the initial scope of work was incorrect.

      We understand that you engaged another company to complete the remaining work, at a cost of $3,000.00. However, in order to proceed with our evaluation and possible resolution, we kindly request a detailed receipt of the work that was performed. The receipt you provided only states the amount paid, without any specific information about the nature of the additional work or any installed pipes. As we previously explained, the amount charged by the other company for the concrete work appears significantly higher than what we would have charged,which would have been under $1,000.00.

      We have made multiple attempts to contact the company ourselves, but without success. We kindly request your assistance in encouraging them to communicate with us, as we believe their input is crucial to understanding the situation fully. Until we receive the necessary documentation or a phone call from the plumber who performed the work, our ability to take further action is limited, as the receipt you provided lacks specific details. We have appreciated the ongoing communication with you and have kept you updated at every opportunity. We kindly ask for your continued cooperation in resolving this matter. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions or if there is anything else we can do to assist you.
