I am currently having my vehicle fixed at the Gerber Collision in ********, and it is the worst experience I have ever had in getting a vehicle repaired. There were multiple delays in dealing with the insurance company, which Gerber claimed was due to the insurance rep. **** I talked to the insurance rep, he told a different story. Then, the Gerber employee who was in discussions with the insurance was out of the office for a week right in the middle of everything, and discussions about the repairs just halted until he was back in the office. What kind of business doesn't have someone pick up the slack when a worker is out of the office? Then, they finally started the repairs, and when they were almost done, the electricity went out in the shop and stayed off for two weeks. Repairs just halted during that time. There were no contingency plans, and the employee I spoke with wouldn't even entertain the idea of sending the car to a different Gerber location to finish the repairs. Finally, the electricity is turned back on, and the tech who was finishing the paint job screwed it up so they had to redo it, resulting in another week-and-a-half delay with my car. As of the time of this posting, they have had my car for nearly three months and have delayed my pickup date four times. I still don't have a vehicle, and no one has bothered to apologize for the inconvenience caused by all of these delays. Their customer service is atrocious and they seem to be incompetent. I regret giving them my car and will never use them again.

Gerber Collision and Glass has since been in contact with the complainant. The General Manager **************** has informed the customer that her vehicle's repairs are completed and the vehicle will be towed back to the original shop for pickup.
