We did business with Thermoglaze after speaking with ***** about their workmanship and products. He mentioned having a very strong product to refinish our tub and would never come off. He told us he'd give us paperwork stating a 10-year warranty (which I have). Shortly after the work, the tub peeled. **** came out and corrected it. It peeled again and we called again. He tried to say it was our cleaners but he saw our cleaners and they were not strong or abrasive. The work peeled again and we called with no response. We were not able to call for some time because our daughter passed away and then COVID has us shifting school for our other daughter. After some of that subsided, we called and texted them several times with no response. We still haven't heard from them. Our tub continues to peel and we will need it redone. We're looking to get our money back so we can get another service to do it. We don't trust Thermoglaze. The charge was $360 plus $80 to strip and repair. We would be okay with just the $360 due to the quaility of the work. If they want to keep the $80 for the work performed to strip the tub. The work was done in 2019.Initial Complaint

I hired Thermoglaze to refinish a tub that was pealing. ************************* first did the work on 7/23/2021. There was all kinds of bubbles that were left in the paint. I asked him about it at the time. He said he'd have to come back the next day 7/24/2021 to repair his work . When he came back he claimed I allowed dust and debris in the bathroom. I told him I had the door shut the entire time. He then sanded down the many bubbles and tried to smooth a big area that wasn't done well. I settled for this and paid him $460 and figured it was too late to hire someone else. The tub was rough on one side, over sprayed in others, and bubbles remained. Now, the tub is chipping and there is an air pocket under the glaze. I called ****. He told me to send him a photo before he comes out. It's near impossible to see this in a photo. At this point I just want my money back so I can hire a pro.
