Summary: Negligence - did not feed our dog sufficient number of meals / supplements (images included for proof)We booked accommodations for our dog ******** or *****) starting the evening of Tue 7/12 and picked her up the morning of 71/18. There should have been a total of 13 meals provided to ***** during this time. We provide her meals - a combination of dry kibble and refrigerated cooked food - in pre-portioned plastic bags that can be easily dispensed at meal time. The insulated bag we provide to carry it all also has very clearly handwritten instructions - including supplements she should be given at meal time. All of this was again relayed verbally at intake on 7/12 along with clear guidance to CALL US if ***** displayed any signs of discomfort.When we returned home, we found four unused bags each of the kibble / cooked food as well as all the supplements leftover (see images). I immediately called the Elmhurst Camp Bow phone line and explained the issue. The employee on the other end said that sometimes if the dog does not finish the entire portion at mealtime they use it again at the next mealtime. When we responded that the fresh cooked food cannot be re-served after being left out, he quickly said "Oh, we would only do that with the dry kibble". But it was very unconvincing and he was unable to account for why we had so much food and supplements returned (30% of the total amount we gave!!!). He also said "I definitely remember putting supplements in ******* dish" but couldn't explain why we had unused supplements. This makes me worried that ***** received medication intended for another dog - a HUGE danger to multiple parties. If there was any issue with ***** not eating (very unlike her), they should have called to notify us (which they didn't). Otherwise, this is gross negligence and there should be corrective action taken against Camp ************* to ensure this does not happen to anyone else's family/pets.
