When beginning discussions with their phone rep, I was promised that they had the vehicle available to lease at my price range within my zip code in Chicago and would use the value of my trade-in to make it work with a minimal amount down to cover title registration and additional fees. Based on that conversation, I made the 35-minute drive each way to ******** in ***********, **.Upon arriving, I met with *************************, who had me start from scratch and go over everything from scratch while the sales manager *********************************** evaluated my trade-in. After going through the figures, including trade-in value, Chicago lease taxes for my zip code, and the cash I'd put down, ***** assured me that he had a vehicle in transit that would meet my needs and pricing. He shook my hand and promised to let me know when the vehicle arrived in the next week or so. ************************* then sent me two follow-up emails thanking me for my visit, promising to follow up, and encouraging me to reach out with any further questions. Less than a week later, I noticed that the vehicle was being listed on their website, and I confirmed with their General Manager, *******************, that the vehicle had indeed arrived.I then replied to ***************************** email, called the dealership to be informed that ***** was busy with other customers and couldn't come to the phone, and left him multiple messages with the sales team, his manager, and on his VM - but received no responses or returned calls. If it were possible to rate ********* with fewer than 1 star, I would do so in a heartbeat. Their treatment of me was demeaning, unprofessional, and dishonest. TWO SUGGESTIONS:1)Do not come into their dealership without a commitment in writing; it's simply not worth the time or aggravation.2)Ive noticed that Im not the only consumer to have had similar issues of this nature recently. SHARE YOUR STORIES so that ownership takes note and takes action.

I had an amazing experience with my car buying today at Hawk Auto in *********** **, amazing staff, and my salesman ********************* was great. He definitely went above and beyond to make my experience great. Everyone I encountered was so pleasant even the managers!!!! Highly recommended Hawk

My first mistake was not looking at the reviews for this scamming dealership. They are full of LIES and VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I would never, ever recommend this dealership to anyone. Take your business elsewhere. I was initially sold a defective Jeep Compass, then that was replaced with a defective 2016 Acura. I told them I feel something jerking when I accelerate and they told me that nothing is wrong with the vehicle. I took it to their shop to get checked out and of course the mechanic stated he cant find anything wrong. Now he states IM ON MY ON. What professional dealer even says that. I know what I have to do now because I have been sold a lemon and I feel stuck with a car I have to pay for every month. I have purchased enough vehicles in my life to know if there is an issue or not. They try to insult your intelligence by speaking down to you. The Finance Manager **** and the rest of his unprofessional crew. Shop elsewhere folks. It isnt worth the headache

This place is a scam - at least the service department. We have brought our Grand Caravan in for brake work 3 times in less than two years. This past weekend we brought it to a different place for an unrelated issue and they put it up and showed us how shoddy the brake work was. No wonder we kept having to go back. When confronted, they refused to stand behind their work. They want to charge us again to fix the problem (and probably still wouldn't fix it well). No thank you - there are much better places to get your vehicle serviced.

In all honesty, I was skeptical on going back to Hawk after plenty of inadequate services the past few years. This all changed thanks to just one person. ******************* has been exceptional and professional throughout my whole service process. Constant communication and overall quality service deserves to be recognized. Not sure what changed at ************ but this is, by far, the best dealer service experience I've ever encounter. Thanks ****, you truly deserve to be recognized for you extraordinary service experience. 100% recommended!

Came to get an oil change, showed them the price I saw online with Mopar. The first lie was let me see the fine print, then it was well it doesn’t cover you cause it’s only up to 5 quarts anything over you will pay. I called my guy he said my car only takes 4.5 quarts. I ask the guy he tells his second lie and says no car takes 4.5 quarts. I look it up myself and sure enough my car only takes a max of 4.5 quarts!!! The guy then says he will check with the tech and see . . . Guess he didn’t see or couldn’t find the tech cause he never came back !!!

I went to Hawk when I totaled my car because I needed a new car fast. *************************** told me the Jeep he was trying to sell was an "upgrade" from my Jaguar. It wasn't. It was a base model Cherokee with a sunroof and luxury car price tag. The dealership has been completely unwilling to help me with a more appropriate alternative.
