Purchased a hand gun on 11/4/22.Went to Smokin Gun Workx on 11/9/22 to pick up gun. Paid to shoot the gun there at their facility to make sure it was operating properly. This was a brand new gun- NOT USED.Shot the gun and it kept mis-firing. So much that the employee, ****************** said to leave it for the gunsmith that would be in on 11/10/22. I agreed that was the best as I didn't want to take a gun home that was defective. They said they would let me know what the gunsmith determined. No word from gun shop, so I called them 11/16 to find out what was happening. Spoke with ****, he said sorry they didn't call, but they ended up sending it back to ************** as the gunsmith couldn't fix it. They said they would call me with an update when its ready. Another two weeks go by and I hear nothing, so I call again on 11/26/22 and was told, no word- haven't heard anything from **************. Called back 12/1 asked about the status- no word from **************. Asked to speak with the owners- no, could not, but I could speak with the manager, *******. Spoke with ******* and expressed how I'd prefer to exchange this for something else since I paid for this on 11/7, however, I still didn't have my brand new gun. She said that their policy is that we need to wait for the gun manufacturer to send this back, that they couldn't do this. I said, I bought a brand new gun and it's defective. Smokin Gun Workx has my $ ****** + dollars, but I have nothing with no idea when my purchase will be ready for me. She said, yep, sorry. Nothing they can do. If it still doesn't work when it comes back I could trade it in as a USED gun and buy something else. Wow. I was blown away. 12/13/22- still NO word from Smokin Gun Workx. Never once did Smokin Gun Workx call me. They've had my money for over a month and I have NOTHING. They told me that they have NO IDEA how long it will take for the gun manufacturer to return the gun.Customer response
