I had brought my vehicle in for an oil change on 8-16-2023 for my **** 500 ************************************************ was what kind of oil change do I want? I told him synthetic he then looked at the vehicle and said Im going to check your air filter (I have an after market air intake system on the vehicle) I told him no do not touch it. He continued to touch it and then started pulling and yanking on the filter causing the silicone hose to rip and tear I had asked him nicely the first time if he was going to fix that he said sorry I didnt know, I then asked again he began as well as his managers and owner yelling and screaming at me to get the f*** out and calling me names I had then asked for insurance information and the manager and owner both said no f*** you I had to file a police report against this business because I felt threatened and unsafe as the owner walked towards me screaming when all I wanted is my car fixedBusiness response

To Whom It May ************** August,16, 2023 **************** brought his vehicle in for an oil change. After discussing the type of oil he would prefer, ************** began our complimentary 18 point inspection. As seen the attached video, the technician looked at **************** air filter and noticed a tear. He takes out his phone for the flashlight to verify and notified ****************. He did not pull or yank on the filter as he stated in his complaint. Once **************** began yelling profanities, we asked him to leave our premises. And when the police arrived, they agreed he should leave.
I am a small community business that prides them honesty and to have **************** try to take advantage of us is outrageous. Thank you for allowing us an opportunity to respond to **************** letter. We believe once you review the video, you will see where the truth lies, the air filter was damaged before coming into our establishment.
