This business came to check my sparking outlets in January and reverse polarity. I was told nothing was wrong with my outlets. I was charged $420 (including one outlet cover). I thought this is normal pricing as a first time homeowner. Since then, my outlets continue to spark and my thermostats started burning my walls. I had to contact the village and two other electricians, and two handymen for consult. ALL of them said I should never have been charged so much and this business took advantage of me. I called and not only will they offer no partial refund, they didnt even offer to fix the sparking outlets.Business response

Customer contacted us in January requested us to check the outlets in newly purchased apartment. We informed her about our rates which are $250 for the first hour, $150 for each consecutive hour + cost of material used. With no objections she scheduled the service right away.
Out technicians arrived on January 19th at 2PM as scheduled. For 2 hours they were checking and correcting the issues with outlets. After two hours they informed the customer they need more time to check remaining outlets. ******** refused, not willing to pay for additional time.
Technicians left, invoice was sent and paid. For 9 months there was no contact attempt. On October 7th customer called us, declaring that our service was overpriced and she demands refund. She also stated that our technicians informed her all issues were fixed and now her thermostat almost burnt.
This is completely false. For one, our technicians informed her they need more time to check the rest of her outlets, and she refused the service. And two, thermostat is a low voltage device, not related to outlets and she did not request anything else beside checking the outlets.
We tried to explain all this over the phone, but after yelling at our employee and demanding refund to her credit card, as well as threatening to file a complain to BBB, she ended the call without giving us a chance to speak.
Phone call recording can be provided through different means, as it is to big to attach here.
We kindly ask to close this complaint due to lack of foundations and bad intent unrelated to performed work nor overall customer service.

I am rejecting this response because I was not notified of full pricing at all when I scheduled.I was not told additional time was needed. I was told everything was fine and no outlets were changed. One outlet cover was changed.
The reason it took me so long is because I kept having issues and consulted with my Village and other electricians.
I never asked for a full refund. I asked for a partial refund.
$400 to check outlets, with major electrical issues ongoing, and being told everythings fine is insane.
Sincerely,

With every service call request we always provide same message. $250 for the first hour, $150 for each additional hour. Two electricians confirmed that they told you they have not finished. We will not acknowledge your complaint based on the fact it was provided as requested and explained.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
You contradict yourself, and every single electrician Ive spoken with says its ridiculous you charged so much.I would never recommend your business.

I got solar panels in 2019. An issue occured with them in 2020, and JDPro failed to contact me until I reached out in May of this year. I have been paying over $700 a month for solar panels that arent working, and also paying $300-$700 a month for the electric bill (which has not been reduced despite having solar panels). I try getting in touch with them and either dont hear back, or they rush me off the phone when I do talk to them. They want to charge me $4000 to just figure out why the panels arent working and I am not sure what the cost will be to fix the actual issue. I was told solar panels would save me money on the electric bill, and it hasnt. Idealy, I would like for them to take care of the issue at their expense. I have included my most recent electric bill in the photo attachments.Business response
