I hired All Roofs **** to fix our roof, however almost a year later my ceiling is still leaking and the company claims that this was not part of the scope of the job.

In June of 2020, All Roofs. *** replaced our roof after an insurance claim from hail damage. The company was paid about ****** for the work done on the roof.In mid-late April of 2022, we noted that some staining to the ceiling at a joint where two roofs meet. We had this problem when we purchased the home, but hired a roofer to fix the issue from the ice damming. The roof did not have any issues for about 7 years. The roof was then replaced and the issue reappeared less than 2 years after the roof had been replaced. We contacted the company in June of 2022 to resolve the issue. We were told someone would call us shortly to assess the issue. In October the company was recontacted and they were surprised to hear that no one from the company reached out. Eventually, a member of the company came out in October and looked at the roof. He looked at the roof for a few minutes and left. We waited a few days and heard nothing. We contacted the company the following week and were told we would be contacted. After recontacting the business several times over a few weeks, we were told they had determined that this was a siding issue and not a roofing issue. We have been told several times that the person who looked at the roof would contact us, and after several calls and promises that we would be contacted we were told that they cannot make him call us. We were also promised the project manager would reach out about the issue, and we have yet to have anyone from the company reach out to us. We recontacted the roofer that made the previous fixes for this issue. He stated that he would be happy to fix the "roof flashing" issue again, but he said that a reputable company should have no issue fixing the roof. Either this company should stand by their 6 year warranty, or refund us the cost for having another reputable roofer fix their oversight.

I obtained the services of this company to provide a new roof for my house in the setting of hail damage From the very beginning the only employee that I had contact with was ******************************* My contract that was reviewed with me was with her, each individual payments in checks where given to her directly, all email and text communication was with her, NO ONE ELSE On November 8, 2021 she wrote me an email with the "final invoice attached" consistent with what she had told me throughout the project: " PROJECT TOTAL: $15,219.65. TOTAL RECEIVED: $7,653.03. BALANCE DUE : $7,563.62 "On Jan 21, 2021 (months after the completion of the project) then send me a new invoice with changed figures:"Total cost *********. Amount Due 13,399.55"There was no additional work done on my roof in between these dates I pointed to them their mistake, and that there overestimate is not what ******************************* had told me from the beginning or through the course of the project on several occasion verbally and in writing I forwarded to them the final invoice ******* had sent me and her statement as to what the final amount due was Their response was "I am sorry but this is not a final invoice. I have not sent you this invoice .. So Ursulala might have made a mistake when she sent you this. Our invoice doesn't look like that, I am the manager of the company and if you would like to sort this please come to the office and we can go over everything. Our cost increased due to building codes we did on your roof which was supplemented."I have told them that I will pay in total what I was led to believe by their representative is my final ****, the amount of $7,563.62, once I get a letter in writing from them that this will settle the balance in full; they refuse. In the interim several people from the company are calling me and emailing me, threatening me, saying they will call the police, take me to court, call their lawyers upon me. I asked them to Cease and Desist and they won't.

As of May 25, 2021, All Roof has been in possession of a $26k check from my insurance company to replace the roof on my home. The insurance company approved a total claim of $85k. Immediately upon receipt of the check, All Roof demanded I endorse the check-before ANY work had even been scheduled. I refused, advising them I would do so only when material and manpower were on site. To date, they have refused to schedule an install date, apply for permits, or order the material (specifically composite shake) for my roof. While they offer no explanation for these delays, they continue to assert there will be various up-charges within the scope of work that insurance will not cover, which is suspicious, since the claim amount = 20% of my total home cost. Since they have a signed contract threatening a 13% claim penalty for breach, they have not only applied to the insurance company for the remaining claim funds, but have threatened a suit should I withdraw from the agreement.
