He was hired to complete some HVAC work in *************. So, TJ showed up and he started installing duct work. He stopped work and stated that he would need payment to continue because he did not have money for materials. I gave him $1,000.00 to start and he needed more money to purchase the units and he sent me a invoice for $9382.10. and I wrote him a check for that amount and he cashed it, and after this I received excused as to why he could not make it to the job site to complete his job. Then all communication stopped until last Monday. I sent him a text stating that I was willing to take a down payment or set up a payment arrangement or I would be filing a compliant with the BBB. So, he then text me last Friday and text me saying that he is raising the money and sorry for the inconvenience. I texted back and I said that I needed him to act on this today and I needed a down payment today so we could work this out from here on out. So, he did not respond to my last text message. I have not received any text messages or phone calls. I would Like to be refunded in the amount of $10382.10.

**************** was hired to service our furnace on 10/16/22. After inspecting our furnace, he ultimately reported that it was unable to be repaired and he recommended replacement. On 10/17/22, he bid a grand total of $2,100 for parts/labor, stating he could complete the install the following evening. That evening came and went with no contact from ****************. I sent him a message that night, to which he apologized for not calling and promised to be at our house by 8am the next morning. After two days of intermittently working, arriving between 1-2 hours later than he promised to arrive each day, he finally reported the job was complete on the afternoon of 10/20/22. He requested and immediately received our payment of $2,100 via check that same day. After he received our payment, **************** stated he would need to return over the weekend to change out the airhandler on our AC unit, in order to make the new furnace compatible with our current AC unit. We agreed on a 9am appointment on 10/23/22. **************** did not show up to this appointment and did not contact me to let me know of any changes in his schedule. After numerous attempts to contact him over the following two weeks, he finally changed out the airhandler on our AC unit on 11/8/22. After completing this task, he sent me a text stating he would need to return in the summer to charge our *** due to a loss of refrigerant when changing out the airhandler. On 4/11/23, **************** returned to our home to charge our AC. While working at our home, he informed me that he was unable to complete the charge this date due to inadequate supply of refrigerant, but promised to return the following day to complete the job. **************** did not return the following day and did not contact me or my husband. My husband and I both attempted to call and text him several times to schedule a date/time for him to return and finally complete this job, however he did not and has never responded to any of our attempts to contact him. To make matters worse, we have since hired a different HVAC company to complete the job. The new company informed us that **************** installed a furnace that is not compatible with our AC unit, and reported that **************** attempted to charge our AC unit with the incorrect type of refrigerant, thus rendering our AC unit no longer operable, as well as voiding the 10-year warranty on the coil in our brand-new furnace. The new HVAC company informed ** that our AC unit would have to be replaced, and we could either replace the coil in the new furnace but would not have a warranty on the new coil due to ******************** error, or we could replace the entire furnace again,in order to have the 10 year warranty. Ultimately, we decided to replace the entire furnace, in addition to replacing the *** costing us another $6,150, in addition to the $2,100 we paid to **************** for his incompetent installation of a new furnace, destruction of our AC unit, and incomplete work.
