      11/11/2021

We have reviewed ******************** complaint and fell the majority of this is a mis understanding.

On 10/4/21 our technician diagnosted his electric furnace as having an electrical issue as we found blown fuses and a bad relay. We quoted the work and returned on 10/8/2021 to replace the fuses in the disconnect and the relay(sequencer).

On 10/26 we were called back out for no heat. Our technician found the furnace in need of a new sequencer again and a limit switch.  Our technician discussed with ******************* what was wrong and the question was asked if he should get a new furnace.  We provided a option for a new furnace, we never told the customer they had to replace their furnace.

Following this complaint we discussed the issue with Tri-County and the other contractor that came out after our visit.  The work completed by the other contactor also replaced the relay(sequencer) that we found bad on our visit.  The other companies techician that did the repair was a former of employee of ours and when we discussed this issue with him he said he found the same thing we did and put the parts in.

We do not feel our firm in anyway tried to take advantage of this customer.  The customer paid in full for the 10/4 and 10/8 visits.  We did not collect or invoice the customer for the 10/26 visit.  And consider his account paid in full at this time.

Feel free to contact Tri-County at ************** if there are any questions on this.  They can also put you in contact with the other company that did the repair to discuss their findings.
