In 2022 I received a bill from tates blue flame gas out of galatia ********. I do not know how they got my address or any of my info as I've never had an account with them. I live in ************** ******** and get my gas from the electric company. I explained all of this to the billing person. They asked if I was married to *********. I told them I don't know her. By simply using ****** search I found the correct ********************* and shared the information with them. I was told it would be taken care of. ****** later, 4/11/23 I receive a bill from a collection agency. I will attach a copy. Account number ****** in the amount of $2,518.99!! I did call and was told that it was taken care of. I replied that I've been assured of that before. I also told them this is harassment. She told me I was harassing them and hung up. I'm tired of dealing with these people. I want them to stop attempting to collect a debt that is not mine. I want the bill to not be on my credit. I feel they owe me at the very least, a sincere apology.Business response

**************** called and left a message on the evening of Tuesday, April 12 at 6:30 pm afterhours. He explained the issue , but was very belligerent and cursing before he hung up.
We reviewed the account and determined that he did not owe , and credited the past due amount reflecting a zero balance. We also contacted our collection agency and removed him from the collections list. See attachments.
Yes, he did call back yesterday, Wednesday, April 12, 2023 in the afternoon. We tried to explain that we resolved the error but **************** continue to curse at us and refused to let us explain that we corrected the issue.
In conclusion, issue has been resolved, his account is at a zero balance and since he states he is not a customer, his account has been removed from our system.
