I purchased a vehicle from them, a week later I had to take it in because it was overheating. I didn't get the vehicle back for over a year. I was still making payments on the the vehicle the entire time. I got the vehicle back after a year and 3 months later the same issue occurred. It started overheating again I towed the vehicle back to the dealership and I haven't heard a word since. They constantly gave me the run around and explained that they've never dealt with a situation like this. They offered to buy back the vehicle but the catch was that I get another that was older and the payments were double of what I was paying for the initial vehicle I purchased. They let my warranties expire and I still didn't have an answer.

That vehicle after the first time it over heated. We told the customer that we would just unwind the deal, and he didn't want that. He was given a loaner car to drive while we tried to find out why it was over heating, which the damage was determined that it came from consumer driving it while it over heated.  We also looked into trading him out of it after that and he never made a payment per the bank. Along with never paying for the extended warranty which is why that wasn't valid. City Select has no responsibility or liability on a vehicle that was damage from driving over heating, along with consumer failing to make payments to lending or warranty company.

I am rejecting this response because: I only had the vehicle in my possession for one week before I turned it in to get worked on kept the vehicle for the duration of the so called dealership warranty and my paid warranty. They did offer me another vehicle but the payments were doubled  compared to what i was paying and the vehicle they tried to put me in was older.

The vehicle offered to trade him out of was a 3 year newer vehicle traverse. He would've had trade in at what he paid. We went above and beyond what any other dealership would've done and gave every option to help him out. We gave him a nice loaner vehicle to drive the whole time. He also never had any expense for service on that vehicle even though again it was determined that it was driven overheating and warped the head. Also again payments on vehicle and his warranty contract were not paid. Voiding every option after he got his vehicle back. Couldn't trade or fix anything that would've been covered.

I am rejecting this response because:

The vehicle I originally purchased was a 2014 Kia Sorento. You guys tried to put me into a 2012 Arcadia and the payments were doubled. We never discussed a Traverse.

They weren't really concerned about repairing the vehicle the paid warranty and their supposed 3 month warranty both expired and I still didn't have the vehicle. Yes they did provide me with a loaner 5 to be exact. The first week after purchasing my vehicle from them it was in the shop and it took over almost an entire year to get it back from April 28 of 2022 until March 21st of 2023. They canceled the claim on the engine from the warranty and constantly gave me the run around. I told them I wanted to stay within my means so I wouldn't have any issues with keeping up on my payments. All they continued to do was to try and up-sell. They ran my credit several different times during this incident on vehicles way out of my budget  I dealt with the salesman more than them because they wouldn't respond to my calls. I had that vehicle for 1 week and it's supposedly my fault. You guys are a joke.
