We signed a contract to have a 20 x 40 inground salt water pool installed for $75,000 with an auto cover and a diving board and basketball hoop on 10/8/21. Nearly 2 years later, we have paid 71,000 to that pool contractor. As the pool sits, our diving board is very crooked ( Had to pay someone else to fix.) There is no metal cover on our auto cover, all the pump fittings are leaking. There is no salt system installed. He provided us an old basketball hoop from a different job. The liner is very loose in the corners and I had to hired an electrician to come back multiple times and had to pay for a bi-directional drill to bore under a patio because he "forgot" where we had the electric service. His workers never show up when he says they are going to and they always leave garbage laying around. All of my pool equipment was laying in my yard for a year before they came back to install. I have paid for my yard to be shaped 2 times now because the dirt continues to wash under the pool because they failed to backfill the pool walls with clean rock. I have paid thousands to electricians, excavators, bore drills to fix his mistakes. Also when installing my pool, his excavator drove a dump truck on my new septic drain field and my plumbing contractor said they crushed it and my warranty on that is now gone. Instead of replacing my leaking fittings, he tried to caulk them to stop the leaks. (still leaking all over) When I contacted other pool companies they claimed that they always have to fix this guys mistakes. I have a bunch of videos of the conditions of the pool that the contractor left.
