Our project started in March of 2022. A very simple remodel of two bathrooms. Only the Vanities, faucets, painting. These remodels were not major. The cost of the both bathrooms was $15,000. To date neither bathroom is complete. ****** who owns this company has been a constant no show when she has promised to show up. Along with nothing but false promises of people being here to work on the projects but no one shows. If they do show up it was for an hour or two late in the evening as if they were doing the work as a side job. The work that has been done is very substandard. This has been going on for 11 months now. ****** currently will not return our phone calls or emails. She is a constant liar with an excuse for everything. You can't believe a word she says. Nothing but excuses. We have had to threaten her with proceeding with a legal remedy. She just doesn't care. She has stolen our money and neither project has been completed. Do not use this design company. They will steal your money. See the previous reviews. They are identical with how our projects have gone.Initial Complaint

THIS COMPANY IS PREDATORY! The owner, *********************************, convinced me to pay a $1,000 'design retainer' fee up front instead of an hourly rate so that we could 'have the creative flexibility and not be limited' as we worked to turn a bedroom into my home office. She proceeded to show up hours late, cancel or reschedule every single touch point after I made the payment. There was always an excuse; work-emergency, family fire drills, traffic, software, all these 'external factors' always impacting her just at the exact times we were supposed to meet. I realize I should have seen this as a red flag and walked away, but she HAS $1,000 of my budget and I genuinely wantedthis to work, I desperatelyneed an office space after working out of my kitchen the last 3 years.Emilie even had temporarily refunded a portion of my money at one point after I demanded this because her software 'wasn't working' and she couldn't ever show me any actual mock-*** of her design that she kept saying was ready. Sheensured me was mysteriouslyonly happening when she was trying to show me.Once I REpaid her the remaining amount, so that she again had my full $1000, she showed me some great pictures but then only proposed a design that was way over my budget of $5,000 (for one small room). She promised to revise this with new furniture and layout suggestions but her general lack of responsiveness or hint of respect for MY TIME and schedule has resulted in NO UPDATES. This has gone on for a month now and yesterday she NO CALL NO SHOWED for an onsite meeting where we were supposed to meet at my home with her PM ***** to make our 'final decisions' so we could move forward and actually DO THE WORK. I am so ***et and she has not returned a single call or text that I sent her requesting she refund of my $1,000.
