I would give it a negative number if I could. I went with my daughter-in-law to be to your store today. An experience that is supposed to make the bride to be, feel comfortable, beautiful and special. Which ****** DID NOT.I walked in a little behind my party, to someone telling my daughter-in-law "Are you going back to ******** we don't have any dresses in your budget." The tone in her voice made my heart break. The mother of the bride asked if she could see a dress, ****** told her it was over budget. I finally took the dress and gave it to the bride to try on. Now, how does ****** know that the bride's mother or me won't cover the difference. I called my son and he said, "if she loves it, just get it". But ****** didn't even bring any dresses, she was with another customer, even thou we had an appointment, and we were there. The bride tried on 2 dresses, looking like she wanted to cry, she just wanted to leave. I understood, she was humiliated in front of her family. She was spoke down to, like she did not deserve to be in this store. When everyone left, I went up to ****** and tried to make her understand how she made the CUSTOMER feel. She told me that I wasn't there and that I did not know what I was talking about. She told me that her manager knew how she spoke to the bride and agreed with her. I then asked to talk to the manager, she said she wasn't there. ****** was very argumentized, to the point of my blood boiling. DO NOT SHOP HERE, ******* bridal is right down the street, beautiful dresses, GREAT customer service, with a budget for everyone, with no judgement.

We apologize for any inconvenience. We show the bride visited House of Brides Couture in **** Ellyn and worked with sales consultant, ******. The bride stated to ****** she was working with a very specific budget and did not want to view gowns outside of that budget. ****** brought gowns for the bride who tried on several samples. We apologize for any inconvenience to you or the bride. However at the beginning of the bride's appointment, the bride stated to her consultant she had a strict budget and wanted to see only gowns within that budget. The consultant assisted the bride with gowns matching her request and the bride tried on several gowns. Also at the start of the appointment, the bride stated they had just visited David's ******* During the appointment, the bride and her family called David's ******* The consultant was present and asked if the bride wished to try-on more gowns or were they planning to return to the other store. A member of her party replied they were still unsure. The mother of the groom pulled additional gowns, which were all double the bride's budget. The consultant advised the price and that the bride requested to see gowns only within the budget. Our staff follows the direction of the bride and therefore if there was any leniency to the budget, the bride or family would need to advise during the appointment so the consultant can assist accordingly. The consultant checked with the bride and her party at the end of the appointment. The bride stated she was fine so the consultant returned to her other customer.The party left but the mother of the groom returned with a complaint for the consultant. Our consultant reminded her the bride gave a budget and she worked with her according to the information she provided.
