On Jan 21, 2022 we signed a contract for $11,600 to install new siding, gutters, gutter guards and downspouts. A down payment of $3866 was given on Jan. 21. Work started on May 2 when an additional installment of $3866 was given. Work was completed (after a very slow start) on July 13 with a final payment of $3868.. After the first big rain we saw that one downspout was not properly attached to the drain. The downspout was on the outside of the drain causing water to drain outside of the drain. We believe a converter was needed to accommodate the larger sized downspout to the smaller diameter drain. Obviously this water is draining straight into the foundation. Starting on August 15 calls and text messages were sent and promises were made for the company to come out and fix the problem. Three months later and they have not done the fix. Our contract came with a 10 year warranty on all work provided but they are not adhering to that contract. Once the freezing winter months hit we are concerned what damage will be done to the downspout and how much damage is being incurred to the foundation where the excess water is flowing into. Last contact from company was Oct. 6 stating they will do "whatever I have to to get it done by next Wednesday so it will be done in the next few days'' which would have been about Oct. 13, over a month ago.
