I scheduled a trip with Vantage on 6/21/2022 (reservation ******) which was to leave August 22, 2022. Vantage cancelled that trip and rescheduled ** for a similar trip, scheduled to leave June 15, 2023. They denied my request to cancel and provide a refund. They cancelled that trip on June 3, 2023 and following an exchange of e-mails they confirmed I was in the queue for a full refund ($12,936.00). Since then they have not responded to my inquiries and apparently have filed for bankruptcy on June 29, 2023.Initial Complaint

Vantage Travel was paid in full from us as members of their President's **** for $15,996 on 11/14/22 for a May 20, 2023 cruise (which ironically was cancelled a week before this date). My husband passed away on Jan 31, 2023 and refund was requested on Feb 13, 2023. I did purchase their travel insurance through Allianz and have filed a claim with them which was approved. I also sent in the paperwork requested by Vantage Travel, a death certificate and my original invoice. As of today, June 4, 2023, I have not received my refund as promised. A copy of the return correspondence is uploaded.Several calls to main customer service and through their elite President's **** member line and additional emails concerning this refund have been ignored with no further response.Initial Complaint

I am **-executor on my Aunt ********************* estate. My aunt *************** is the other **-executor. Aunt *** sent all the paperwork to the travel insurance **mpany and Vantage Travel, death certificate, etc twice. Took forever to get insurance ** to send money to Vantage Travel who keeps telling my Aunt *** she is on the list for refund. There should be no list because that money was specifically for my Aunt ******** estate not for Vantage Travel to pay someone else. They are using money that is not theirs. This happened in February and my aunt is always calling to check on. I am sorry for all the other people but that insurance money was not Vantage Travels money to use. We cannot close out the estate until we get this settled. Pay up!Initial Complaint

Check was issued on 6/10/2019 to Vantage Deluxe World Travel for $11,122.00 for a trip to ********/*****. The trip was originally scheduled for April 10, 2020, but was cancelled due to Covid. A cancellation request was submitted by our travel agent although Vantage wanted to reschedule the trip several times. Our travel agent had contacted Vantage several times to obtain a status on our refund. We, too, have contacted Vantage on several occasions. The last attempt was made on November 10, 2021 where they acknowledged that their refunds are severely delayed, that they are trying to resolve oldest refunds first, that our refund is over 500 days old with them, and that we should continue to check back monthly.
