      April 5, 2023 Our serviceman was more than awful. We were scheduled for an estimate that day. Upon arrival, the serviceman said another customer had just cancelled, and being in the area, he could service us.The serviceman was here for 2 hours, charging us for 4 hours. I called the field supervisor, asking that he come and inspect the sub-standard job we received. Upon arrival, the supervisor saw the finished work, and was concerned. We were charged $1,681 for 4 hours of time. The serviceman reported being in my home for 4 hours. I said no way. My husband viewed our Ring Camera with the supervisor. Both the supervisor and my husband came up with 2 hours. A large part of the technician's time here was spent running up and down the stairs playing with his phone. The supervisor was curious as to what he actually cleaned. The supervisor has worked for Stanley Steemer for 14 years. Our service man has worked for the company for 5 years My cleaning lady was here three days afterward. I asked her if the floor seemed cleaner. She replied that she changed the bucket 3 times. She said "I could not tell that it had been cleaned. The supervisor offered to send another technician to complete the job, or I could request a refund. He had a Stanley representative call me. The rep was polite, and offered me a refund of $600. It was not the amount that I felt I deserved. I spoke with another Stanley representative. I stated that I will be reporting this matter to the BBB. She preferred if I did not do that, and stated we did refund some of my payment via a credit of $600. I replied that amount leaves me paying $1,081 for literally no cleaning, but a lot of aggravation!All I can say is run as fast as you can, from these charlatans. Such matters need to be reported to the Better Business Bureau BBB when we are victimized by such con-artists.

      Came with no mask. Preceded to clean my couch and rubbed a hole in the headrest of the couch. After filing a complaint with them. They took my couch to be repaired. I never was told how they fixed it and I have no idea what it looks like. They havent returned it and I feel that I should have informed on what they did to the couch. Also having a problem of a delivery time. They want me to wait around all day for the couch. The regional manager never got back to me. Never do business with them. They are not reputable.

      These friendly and polite young workers with very little experience seem reliable, but neither they nor their management will own their failings & cover-*** when they know that they have stained and damaged your natural fibers ****************** carpet. Instead of being forthright & forthcoming, they immediately become unavailable via phone, then later lie to deny their own speedy workmanship with their own reckless use of Stanley chemicals and their own personal chemicals. Though, they remain friendly & polite, they speak only to reframe your complaint and accusation into what they claim it to be. And that's when they twist your words to document that you "...would do business with them again." And that's how they end their Steemer transaction with you.Even if you don't mind that your *********************************** will not look much cleaner than before, you should proceed only with 100% supervision. Do make our mistake of leaving them alone to be their own best professionals. They are not professionals at all. In fact, a manager of *********-********* doesn't even know all workers on their service "teams." Do not leave these workers alone in a room to repeat their well-practiced *************** routines. They believe that you proceed at your own risk. And you should believe that, too.
