Homeowners Beware! We were planning a kitchen remodel and my sister-in-law recommended this company, Fixx, because he repaired and finished her basement, leaving my sister-in-law very satisfied with his work. The Actual signing & submitting of the down payment was in December 2021. The first day of demolition was on Monday, January 10th, 2022. Today is May 4th, 2022, only a few more steps to complete. However; He has not shown up in a week. No Show on Thursday, Friday (last week), no show on Monday, Yesterday or Today - Wednesday. He leaves excuses and does not get the job done. It has taken months what should have been finished in 4 months or less. His m.o. is when it rains or if there is inclement weather, there will definitely be nothing done. When we call to ask if he is coming, he brushes us off, saying "yes, I'll be there between 9 and 10 am." But does not show up for work. The estimated job cost runs in the tens of thousands. There is a balance of approximately $4,000 +/-. The workmanship is poor; no same *********, electrician, laborer or plumber are not the same ones hired from the start. I've asked him to send an email regarding when the work will be complete, but he sent a text to an unknown 3rd party, (sent to my inbox). giving an excuse the reason why he couldn't show up was because he had the flu. Odd, when we talked to him, He didn't sound like he was sick. DO NOT HIRE FIXX!, Sincerely, ********************

We have impeccable reviews on ****** and great reviews on the BBB, that is our goal on each job, to receive a great review. We have completed **** jobs in 4 years. One thing is certain and will always be so, and that is we are humans here at FIXX and we can for sure make mistakes. One thing we always do is own up to our mistakes for sure. We are extremely upset that we have made *************** feel this way. We have tried to complete her job and will continue to do so if she allows it. We will be honest and transparent responding to this review:************** called us 05/04/22 stating that we him $180.00 because he directly hired one of our painters and the painter has not completed the work. This has caused several problems, including a direct conflict of interest for our employee. Also, our employee decided to complete ************** work and not go to our other paint jobs therefore complicating our schedules even more. It became difficult to complete the paint items at Mr. and *************** house because our painter was working at their home completing other projects they hired him for, without completing our jobs first. Also, we decided to work with a cabinet that has truly set us back for weeks. They gave us several delivery dates to deliver and did not complete the delivery until after those dates. The appliance company the customer chose also delivered the appliance late. Both situations made it more difficult to complete the work on time. We also have been very communicative with Mr. and *************** throughout the entire process. The workmanship has been good, yet it the work has not been completed so several items seem unfinished. We have several technicians in the same trades, since deliveries of materials have not been constant, we changed technicians accordingly to continue the work. ************** has not let us enter his home since May 4th. We have emailed and texted several times to the provided contact info stating that we can finish the work within 2 business days and have received no response.04/28/22 - Text message sent from FIXX regarding need for a specialty shop to cut a stainless steel vent 05/04/22- Email stating we can finish work in 2 business days 05/05/22- Email stating we can finish work in 2 business days 05/06/22- Email stating we can finish work in 2 business days
