  Driving home Xmas eve 12-24-22, about 4pm, in bad weather my car skidded off road near ************************* in ****** landing near pond. While waiting for my tow truck ****** police arrived & said he requested a police **** tow ********* should go with him to police station. Before leaving I took photos of my car. My car was totally functional with no visible damage. Lake County Towings own receipt #******, did not indicate any pre-existing visible damage. ****** police gave me contact info for LAKE COUNTY TOWING at ********************************* in ******, closed until 12-26-22. I went to Lake County Towing on 12-26-22 for my car and they required $1365.00 for towing & storage before access to my car. I expected dents or scrapes from towing, but not total destruction. It seemed the car had been torn in half. The inside was soaked & items from the glove compartment were all over & wet. The towing belts were still around it & Lake County Towing refused to remove them. I was forced to contact ********************** to tow my car to a mechanic. This driver said he had never seen such devastation to a vehicle from *************. The Lake County Towing staff at ********************************* in ****** were unbelievably rude, unprofessional & condescending stating they had no idea what happened & there was nothing they could or would do. I asked for the owner & was directed to Lake County Towing at *********************** in ********. The owner refused to hear any complaints telling me to call my insurance company. He refused any discussion or to even give his name, saying he did not care if we reported him or took him to court. ****** police said there was nothing they could do, & I had to deal with LAKE COUNTY TOWING. I did file a police report on 12-26-22. I would like to report this company as totally unprofessional, careless & irresponsible. Lake County Towing needs to replace the car they destroyed as well as return my $1365.00.

  The towing service provided to me was very unprofessional, negligent towing service that was provided to me by Lake County Towing on April 3, 2022 at 6:45 AM. This company was called on by the Lake County Sheriff, who was at the scene of the accident that morning. At the time of the pickup of where my semi-truck was rear-ended, the driver **** had latched my semi-truck to his tow truck, but neglected to secure the wing flaps, AKA left & right fairing of my 2014 ***** semi-truck. When he was finishing up with latching of my semi to his tow truck, I specifically asked him if he can be sure to secure the fairing ****** **** told me that he did not have the supplies to do so. Then he asked if I myself had anything to secure them with, to where I told him no, & that the tow trucks are supposed to come equipped with such chains to secure the most sensitive areas of the semi-trucks. Anyhow, we left the scene to go to my mechanic shop in ******, *********** when I became more agitated at the actual driving of the tow truck driver because of his excessive speed, even if he was driving on the speed lim*** it was still too fast because of the fact that my truck had already had damaged/broken parts on *** *** was worried he would make it worse, to which then the actual parts of the fairing wings became broken, ending up having the fairings knocking and banging on each side of my truck. I confronted the driver again & told him to take it easy, yet he completely ignored me again, & thats when we almost got into a physical altercation while he was driving because of his complete unprofessionalism & lack of respect for others property. And to add to the distress, the initial driver had to was obliged to go back to his tow truck company location in ********, ** in order to have another certified tow truck driver take me to the semi-truck mechanic. Then I called the towing shop to complain & they told me to talk to manager ***, who was of no help & kept denying his driver's fault!
