We had placed a $6000 deposit for work to be done on our home. Despite our checks clearing from the bank on 5/25. Instead of starting work on our home, they state that their bank told them there was insufficient funds. They keep saying they are waiting to hear back from the bank and "Book" keeper and its been 3 weeks now. I want a full refund of my money.Business response

We could not begin the work because we did not have the permit yet. We were going through that process. We have a stellar reputation and we would never jeopardize that. We spoke to the bank on 6-14-22 and they made an error. We spoke to **** ******* husband ***** on 6-15-22 at 3pm and informed him that the error was the banks fault and that we would be refunding them the deposit of $6,000 per our agreement terms and conditions.

I am rejecting this response because:it has been proven that Premier has $6000 since 5/25. We’ve contacted them numerous times only to hear the book keeper is looking into it. On 6/15 my husband was told that they are processing our refund and we have not received any refund. Since, no work has been done and they have a “ stellar” reputation there is no reason why we have not received our refund. Clearly, they have our money in their bank. And since it was an error with the bank I’m sure they would gladly help premier to send a certified check in the mail. This is just bad business. It has now been almost a month of excuses of what happened to our money. The check needs to be in our hands by 6/23 or we will pursue further legal action.

Sorry, we are still waiting on the check. Not that it’s the business fault, and perhaps the post office is busy. I can’t resolve this issue until we cash the check.

The refund check was mailed to the client. We spoke to them on 7-6-22 and they received the refund check and they deposited it into their bank account and it has cleared and they are happy. This whole thing was the banks error not Premier Home Improvements.Thank you
