auto fraud and side money as well for another $1000. Then refused to tell me that the owners sister wrecked the vehicle for 5 weeks after the purchase after multiple problems. I have a text from the salesman stating so and wanting another $1000Business response
12/05/2023
I have attached the promissory letter signed by **************************** It was dated 9/15/23 the date of purchase and was due on 9/30/23. The contract for his vehicle was with Exeter Finance and they required a $1500.00 down payment in order to secure financing. He paid $500.00 on his credit card that day and agreed to pay the additional $1000.00 by 9/30/23. This vehicle was not owned by the owner's sister and was not wrecked. ****** issued a clear report on this vehicle, which they would not do if it had been involved in any type of accident. There is no additional money being requested, just the fulfillment of his original promissory letter.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:The owners sister wrecked the vehicle. This text sent proves it. The owner is clearly lying and the vehicle is it's own proof. If it's never been on an accident why did they say it was and NOTHING was fixed except for a fender that don't even come close to lining up. I traded in a truck plus $500 cash. It's absurd that with the text messages from the salesman to assume anything different than them lying to cover themselves. Explain why he wanted to deal with me directly and refused to when I tried. As **** stated once again she hit a mailbox but never reported with well over $5000.00 in damage still. They lied and told me 5 weeks later. The dates from the text don't lie.
Sincerely,

This is in regards to the complaint ******** from ***************************. It states that the vehicle was wrecked by the sister's owner, who has never owned this vehicle. I don't know where he is getting his information but it is not accurate. The rest of the information is not based on fact. He does not want to pay the additional $1000.00 he owes for the down payment. I see that this case was closed but here is our response.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: In this video now, that ******************* admits his fraud and wants me to pay him before he addresses his fraud issue. There is 28mins worth of video. Fraud was confessed as you'd hear ************ say he does not care. I ask for the estimate to get it repaired and says why would I mention that to my insurance company. Lots of fraudulent things going on on his behalf in our conversation. This is just a few minutes of it.
Sincerely,

There was no fraud committed in this deal. The customer is trying to avoid paying the additional $1000.00 that he owes for his down payment so he is making unfounded accusations. He originally stated that the owner's sister owned the vehicle, which was incorrect, and that she was a drug dealer. These accusations are totally unfounded. Again, I feel he is just making all of these accusations to avoid paying the balance of the down payment for this vehicle.Customer response

Complaint: 20928346
I am rejecting this response because: ******************* is blatantly lying and his attorney has been in contact awaiting a thumb drive with ******************* owner of Country Chevrolet of ******** admits my complaint along with his finance manager in a 30min video. He asked if I got an estimate. Why would he do that if it was never wrecked? **** says pay me a $1000 and then I'll address the car issue with the damage. At the end his finance manager trying to save his job for falsifying my finance info says we can handle this easily. ***** says something then kicks me out and has his attorney call me. From that call he found out auto fraud and financial fraud had been committed and asked how I would like to proceed. Said he would like a copy of the video and we will go from there. This is not *************** committing fraud. Pretty sure his dealership paid over 2 million for committing fraud for the then finance manager. This is custom for *********** to commit fraud and take advantage of any and everyone he can at any cost as the test I've sent have show and the video I have further proves auto fraud was committed to benefit on a higher price on a vehicle that was severely damaged to have over $6000 worth of damage and that not including any transmission l, engine, alignment or other parts that were definitely affected. His lies will benefit him so let him keep telling them. I'll expose him for who he is with ease!
Sincerely,

On Jan 3 2022 I spoke with the service manager at Country Chevrolet stating that my truck was jerking and that the check engine light is on and I needed it serviced asap. On Jan 5th I brought my truck in, it was still jerking but the check engine light happened to go off right before arriving to the dealership. I explained it to ***** the service manager he stated they would still check it out. Shortly ***** returned and stated that his technician didnt find anything. I stated that I know my vehicle and its not driving the same and I got an oil change recently but the percentage seems low. He stated since the check engine light isnt on he cant do anything about it. Come back if it pops up again. I felt disregarded because I knew and he knew there was something wrong with my vehicle. On Jan 24th my vehicle check engine light came on and stopped on the expressway. I contacted Country Chevrolet and told them my truck is doing the same thing and has now stopped its need to be serviced expeditiously. My 3 year warranty I purchased would be expiring Feb 1st. ***** told me he wouldnt be able to service me ironically until Feb 2nd I told him I couldnt wait that long. He agreed for me to bring it in. In route to the dealership my vehicle stopped on the expressway. It had to get towed to the dealership. I have been in a loaner vehicle since Jan 25 on Jan 26th ***** asked me to send my last 4 oil changes so that my vehicle could get fixed. I emailed them over to him. On Feb 10 ***** contacted me stating the warranty denied my claim and that they need their loaner back and couldnt fix my vehicle and didnt give any other options to appeal this claim or to help me at all with this. Country Chevrolet service manager ***** lied and told me that the warranty people sent out someone to check out the vehicle and they denied me. The warranty people told me they never sent anyone out Country Chevrolet lied and that they shouldve given me a TSB option to fix my vehicle.Business response

Dear BBB:
In response to the complaint you have received from ID ******** I would like to advise you that there is a lot of miss information stated within the original document from ******. Her first visit Dec 29th (NOT Jan 5th) to our service department had customer concerns-repair order #***** of a check engine lamp and a left front power window issue. The check engine lamp pertained to a history engine misfire which no issue was found. ********* window (LF) issue was duplicated, diagnosed and approved for repair by her extended warranty and repaired. As for the concern ****** had almost one month later which was Jan 26th repair order number ***** (which had NOTHING to do with the previous repair) she called our service department stating her car quit on the highway so my adviser dispatched a tow truck. The vehicle was brought to us, we diagnosed it as a lower engine failure which included a broken connecting rod due to undetermined reasons. Her extended warranty policy WAS NOT expired, nor did anyone at our dealer tell her it was expired. We called in the claim to Endurance Apex Extended warranty and they assigned a claim of number CL10573098. Endurance Apex DID SEND an inspector to our dealership, inspected the vehicle and agreed the engine suffered lower end damage, and proceeded to tell us the claim would be rejected due to what they "thought" was oil loose from a rear main seal. Sadly the customer has accused us of lying stating that "the warranty company said they did not send anyone to our dealer to inspect the vehicle", which we have proof they indeed did, including the claim CL10573098 from Endurance Apex. We also are stuck with the tow bill of $262.00, that of which ****** refuses to pay. I spoke directly person to person with ****** and her Father in my office after the extended warranty company rejected the repair and explained that I could possibly get GM to help with the repairs and that it would still cost her out of pocket due to the large expense. She declined that as well. We tried everything possible here at our dealer to help ******, even had the finance department work with her to help figure out a resolution. Again we are saddened that ****** is falsely accusing us of lying and fabricating the events that took place. It's unfortunate that attempting to help a customer, now has the blame reversed unto us.
Best regards,
S Neuk
