The Service pro had not been truthful; he has been misleading from the beginning. He collected initially collected $1,000 as a design fee on 04/02/2022. Then he collected $13,479.40, on 04/18/2022 for cabinets. We were only given receipts for the money. I continued to ask for a contract detailing the work since he stated he was the general contractor and had a staff of electricians, plumbers and contractors who would do the job. On 04/23/2022, I was sent an email providing all of the dimensions for the appliances to order through Grand appliances which he has a contact at a specific location. I asked for the contract detailing the following: We need a contract detailing a breakdown with the terms and conditions of the work. We don't have any information at this time. The contract should contain the following: Description of work Contract Price Certificate Completion Materials and Labor License and Permits Laws and *********************** Utilities Warranty Condition of the Property Work Changes we never received a detailed contract but was told the work would get done. When I asked about references, since he stated he has multiple projects throughout the Northshore, he could not provide them and told me to go online to Yelp. Each time I question, something he would get hostile and over talk me to try and belittle as if I should not ask any questions. He keeps changing prices and now he requested an additional $10,000.00 and he had not done anything other than quote prices for the past two months. The permit with the City has not been submitted as agreed upon. The application was started on 05/20/2022 but the documents needed were not provided so that is on hold. Now he wants to drop off the cabinets and cut tides since we do not agree to give him the $10,000.00 He is stating he needs the $10,000 to secure the contractors for the work. Nothing has been started and a permit for the work has not been approved. He collected money for the cabinets without any demo.
