I broke my back in 4 different places last year and had a stair lift installed in my home and they charged me $6,200.00. Since I am moving they came to remove the chair lift and they said they would buy it back and give me an offer. They gave me back $200.00. I would like to have refunded to me more than $200.00.

Hello,
Stair lifts are custom fitted to the customers home. The ******************** were used by ********************* for 6 months installed on 10/9/2023 and picked up on 4/9/2024. I have attached the original estimate showing the box checked will not buy back.

Hello ******,
Thank you for voicing your concern. We installed two used stair lifts in your home last year. We cannot provide a refund due to the amount of time that the lifts were installed in your home.
While we do make offers to buy back stair lifts that were purchased as new, we do not typically buy back stair lifts that were purchased used. This was discussed during the estimate appointment and is marked as will not buy back on your original estimate prior to purchase or installation.
We made an exception and agreed to purchase your lifts back for $200. Im sorry we are not able to increase this amount.

I am rejecting this response because:
While this equipment was sold at $6100 as used, it was only in my home for six months. At the time it was returned there was no damage to the equipment and had been maintained. In all reality, this equipment will probably be resold as "used" again for whoever knows what price. I feel this is unfair and exploits the elderly and disabled. I wish that this complaint is filed with this company for future purchasers to reference and note.
