I have used ProTeam works a number of times and until last year, I was very happy with their service. Last year, the technician arrived at the house and was very brusque saying the office did not schedule enough time for the size of my house and so he was leaving and that someone else could come back another day. While they did come back and complete the work a different day, they rushed and the quality was not as it had been previously. Despite this, I contacted them again for service this year thinking that I would give them another chance based on previous good experiences. I was given a rough estimate for the work over the phone, but told that the final quote would be done on site as their pricing had changed. When the technician arrived, he was rude and loud in speaking with my 2 year old son and his babysitter as they left the house. Once I came outside, he continued to act in an abrasive and threatening manner and made me feel incredibly uncomfortable as he barked that the job would be 50% more expensive than the verbal estimate. While I understand the verbal quote was not binding and I expected a possible delta, having been at the house a number of times in the past and the way they incorrectly timed the job last year, there was no reason for the estimate to be that far off. When I asked for 1/2 the service, as I was both not prepared to pay that amount and, more importantly, afraid of this individual being in my home while I was now alone, he yelled a number at me and said you can decide now as we have other places we can go. They left without completing the work. This business needs to be far more careful about who they send to peoples homes. I was genuinely fearful (as was the babysitter), which made me defensive when yelled at by this individual, but I feel that I should never have been put in this position by a company providing a service. Women should think twice before being home alone when using this company.

Dear Customer,Our technician arrived during the scheduled window of time, which was set between 8am and 10am arrival time. We always mention to you that it is a large job, and will take a while to take care of. We did mention by phone that there will be a price increase, since we changed how we price French-style windows this year. We do apologize that the price increase was so large, however, the rest of the story was told completely different from our technician's perspective. Our technicians came out to inform you that they will count all the windows again to provide you with as precise a quote as they could. Once they did, the technician leading for the day was not "barking" or "being rude and loud", he simply speaks louder than most people, that is simply how he talks to everyone. As he informed you of the raised price, you immediately took to using curse words (which shall not be mentioned), and began to shout at our technician first. Once you requested that only the exterior of the windows be done (rather than both interior and exterior), you simply assumed that it would be half, which is never the case. The exterior of the windows is always more difficult to do, and will never be exactly 1/2 the price, it would be about 2/3 or 3/5 of the price that it would be for interior and exterior. You did not ask about this by phone, and again, you simply assumed it would be half. As you continued to yell at the technician, he simply continued to talk to you and try to explain to you why the pricing was like that. Your own cursing and yelling continued, and our technicians have the right to decline the work if they are treated as such.If you, or your babysitter, felt threatened, we do apologize for it, but that is never the intent of a crew that provides a service. How you interpret when someone talks to you with a voice that is slightly louder than your own is up to you. Shouting at those that are trying to explain to you why the prices are what they are, and trying to provide you a reasonable service is not acceptable.Additionally, cursing over the phone and calling the technicians names is not acceptable either.In the future, please, PLEASE do not contact our company any longer. We do not tolerate abusive language towards our technicians.
