      Let's start with the check engine light came on. 2 different codes, brung car in, they diagoised and said I need a turbo and a module. Upon making the agreement I stated on the paperwork that I wanted *** old damaged parts from my vehicle. I said ok to the parts, labor and 2-3 weeks later I get the, "Your car is ready for pick up" call. Happily to receive my vehicle, I get there, I pay and finalize paperwork. To start my car and to see the check engine light is still illuminated and the old damaged parts weren't there. Very disappointing, service agent said all technicians were gone for the night. I asked to get a code reader and sure enough both the same codes are showing up that I just paid $7000 for. It gets better, I leave and get that call again another 2 weeks later. "Sir, your car is ready for pick up." I show up, check upder the hood for anomalies to see my engine cover cranked and glued back together. Not so happy at this point. I question them and their response was, "We found it like that." Sure enough the codes were cleared after starting the car, great. I went on my merry way for about 300 miles when the check engine light came back on. Yes the SAME code. I called, they said bring it back, they said it's a solenoid causing the issue (mind you cost and labor for this was around $450) Could that componet been the issue all along? Did they even change my turbo? I never felt the car had a boost issue. I got that call again after 2 weeks saying, "Your car is ready for pick up," I arrived, thankful and excited. I payed and went to start the car and NOTHING. No start, dead really. No techs either. I leave and a few days later I get services saying it needs 2 new batteries a starter and new relays now. ??? $3500. I said ok and while service guy hanging up the phone he yells, "I GOT HIM!!" To get called again a week later saying that didn't fix it. Now it needs a module, $3000 due to liquid damage. ?? This was in Feb. snow and ice melt.

      Saturday April 15th my husband and I came to this dealer to purchase my first Range Rover. At the end of negotiations I presented a check with full amount of the car Totaling ****** dollars in addition to a 500 cash deposit. While I was there they called to verify the check as expected ( I had no problem with that.) on Monday 4/17/23 I was informed that the check needed to be in my married name since thats what my ID had.. The manager then got in contact with the credit union that informed them that it was not a problem and that if they needed further clarification they could request my marriage license. I intern gave my marriage license right away.. To later be told they would not sell me the vehicle. I later on took the same check to another dealer and purchased my new vehicle with no issues.. I WOULD NEVER PURCHASE OR DO BUSINESS WITH THAT DEALER. Not sure if it was due to my ETHNIC BACKGROUND Or they found someone to purchase the vehicle for a higher amount.. I found it to be both embarrassing and unjustifiable as to why the vehicle could not be sold the only reason I can suggest is do to my ETHNICITY AND THAT AND AFRICAN AMERICAN COULD NOT POSSESS A CHECK WITH THAT AMOUNT.I am an African American first responder . In addition I gave them a 500 cash deposit that I was not allowed back until the day after. What an inconvenience to me when I purchased my new vehicle
