Date of service 02/25/23 Oil change I went in on the date above for an oil change on my 2010 Glk 350 ******** ***** I drove home afterwards. The following morning I got into my vehicle. It begin to make a noise while i was driving. I took it back to the oil express where I had got service. They exam the car and found a cause of why my vehicle was making the noise. They said the heat shield was rusted and rubbing my inner wheel after they had already snatched it off. They was not told to ****** it off. I then pulled away to see if the noise was gone my car begin to get really loud and stopped in the middle of traffic. The car check engine light came on the car wouldnt move or anything. As I was stuck in the middle of the road I called to tell them I had just pull off from them and to come help me I was 1 block away. One of the workers came to take a look. He stated that my drive shaft had broken. The car was not drivable and that I needed a tow while I have my 3 year old daughter with me stranded. They didnt offer help or even a tow. Before I came to the business my car was perfectly fine it didnt have any lights on the dashboards, no sounds and was drivable. They was not suppose to do anything that was in not in there scope of practice. My vehicle Never had any major mechanical issues. There customer service was horrible they didnt even look like they wanted to do there job. Why wasnt I told the drive shaft was broken before they took the heat valve off my car without my permission which has caused more problems. So to sum it up, I went in for a oil change and the next day my car is not drivable. As you can see in the video they were trying to remove the heat Shield and the drive shaft is right there.
