Turnkey installed 2 recycled hollow core doors in our bathroom remodel. They are both warped and clearly not new. They promised solid core Masonite doors. I made the mistake of providing full payment with the understanding they would come back and install the doors they promised. They constantly give the run around, make excuses, pass the buck between ********************* and his partner **** At this point I know they have no intention of completing the job. I need this documented because they have no issue lying to their customers and making empty promises. At one point the sub-contractor that installed our shower doors came to our house pleading his case saying they have not paid him and haven't paid many other contractors.Initial Complaint

**** **** aka ******************* LLC and Turnkey Countertops, is owned by ********************* and *********************. This company hired my company - Search Traffic Now LLC to build a website - turnkeycountertops.com and handle marketing. We not only built and hosted the website but we also fronted the media costs for ****** adwords. The company acknowledged the balance due but just has refused to pay claiming business was "bad" but they still conduct business to this day. We have presented the actual balance due, which they claimed they would pay, yet to date, they have refused pay anything. The balance owed $11,991.73. We have emails, and texts from ********************* acknowledging the debt.Initial Complaint

Unfortunately, this contractor has become my worst nightmare. After interviewing 5 companies, I chose turnKey because the checked all the boxes. I received copies of their insurance, looked at reviews and also, they came in mid-priced for a small kitchen remodel. We kept the same footprint. When we met, I already knew my colors (even samples), had my backsplash and ordered all my appliances. 1st issue was they decided not to go with the cabinet company I had my samples from and the color from the new company was darker. Mind you I do like the color. We had to push to get things done. At the end of project my husband ended ** in the hospital, so they were only allowed to finish up 2 days a week, while I was working from home. Finally on October 9, I gave them the final check, now it is just 6 months later, and I have doors that are bowing, shiplap that is bowing and separating from the wall, crown molding separating from the cabinets, doors that close on an angle, electrical outlet that intimately work, LVP flooring that is separating. Company finally came out to fix above issues only because of review I put on Houzz. In the process fixing they created more problems. They picked-up doors that were warped and we were told that they would be out to re-install next day. They never showed up. Email sent notifying them of vacation and work schedule plus we needed notification to re-install. The day after I came back, we were out, and they showed up with no notice. Received a text from the second ******* of this project asking after the fact if they could come. Told him no since we were not home. Radio Silence since then. I sent an email and still nothing. We currently have a split cabinet frame, 3 cabinets without doors, an electrical socket that at times does not work. One of the cabinet doors does not line with current hardware. Don't know what to do to get all of this fixed.Business response

Regarding the Complaint# 17413245
We have made several attempts to address the issues at ***************************** kitchen, but she has not made any time for us to come and do the work. She refuses to take any of our phone calls and jut wants to make complaints. We have been focused on fix the couple of issues she has, but she has not allowed us to do so. So we have put this case into the hand of our lawyer.

I am rejecting this response because: On June 3rd 5:26 pm from ********************** I sent an email to ***, *** and the companies Info email. With an explanation of why were where not available on June 3rd when they just showed up, no scheduling, no notice NOTHING and requested that they notify us 2 days prior to coming to make sure we would be available. I also stated that we know one of the cabinet doors will not align and that they would need to get another door, andsince when they tried to fix the crown, they split the top of the cabinet we will not allow hardware to be moved. Picture already sent. I also requested that all communication going forward be done via email. I have not seen anything since.The above was not the first or second time just showing up or no shows happened. The day after they just showed up again to take the cabinet doors, we were told they would be back next day. Guess what **** dropped them off stating they would be back later that day. We did not hear from them until June 3rd when they just showed up. I have every email and multiple Texts with *** to try and get this resolved. We still have not heard from them at all. Except for now PJ's response.

I'm not sure ow to move forward with this. I am CC'ing our Construction manager so he can get back into the foid. I believe some of these issues have been explained to the homeowner as to why they are happening. I am not sure if they have made any adjustments on their end. I will make sure *** contact ****** to see if we can schedule time to fx the remaining issues. It would be helpful if ****** can give us days & times in June/July that would work for her & *****. I am rejecting this response because: PJ yes, they did claim that some of the issues were due to settling and humidity dryness etc. I understand that, but the initial separation of the cabinets from the crown, was much more than settling, humidity etc. When they finally came out to try and fix that is when the one cabinet ended up split. "We can put wood putty and it will be as good as new". These are the types of answers we get. When everything is completed to our satisfaction, at that point I will except the issue resolved. According to *** someone is supposed to come now on Monday the 27th. I have given *** the times of when we will be available. Hopefully, I'll hear back with confirmation of either time frames soon. Otherwise, it would be any Thursday or Friday for the next 3 weeks.
