I have a written document signed for work to be accomplished for a portion of my roof. While making and agreement, I was told to call and find out an estimated time for the work to be completed. I called three times to find out an exact date or an estimate so that I can purchase the rest of the materials. Campbells construction came Thursday without notification. I told them they would have to come back tomorrow or next week as I did not have the materials. After talking to manager, he agreed on offering materials. However, on original contract, it states a new work order needed to be signed, which was not done. The crew started on the roof. After strip, the materials arrived. Shingles and other materials arrived which included felt paper, incorrect color shingles (which was corrected), ice melt, and osb. The workers put the osb on the roof, used my ladder, my saw and other tools because they did not bring enough. They did not finish Thursday. They did not return Friday and I had to call to get them back. They returned Saturday and was in a rush and did a poor job. While removing one portion of the siding, it left the a hole into the house. I asked the roofers to cover which originally they said yes, but then they left it. I received the final bill and the shingles were added on there, along with an extra dump fee of $500 that was not mentioned, and the charge of osb and install of $75 per sheet which was also not mentioned. When neglecting to inform when they will start the project, verbal agreement was made on material. After contacting the local lumber yard for price of osb, it was found that osb is $12 a sheet, not $75. I will gladly pay the correct price per sheet, but not $75. No extra costs were mentioned nor was another agreement filled out as should have been done on the contract. I just received a 3rd bill with the extra garbage dump fee removed, however the $75 per osb charge is still on there and now he is threatening to send to collections.

Mr. ******** hired us to put on a roof on a dormer and dome roof for $1,800 labor only. Upon arriving at the job Mr. ******** didn't have any of the materials there. I spoke with Mr. ******** on the phone and entered into a verbal agreement for us to supply the materials because he didn't have any money to purchase them. The crew started removing the old shingles when they discovered it would  need new sheeting and labor to install it,  that was not on the original contract. Mr. ******** didn't have any money so we went and bought the sheeting and installed the sheeting on the roof. There was no dumpster provided on the job site for the roofing debris so we put it in our dump trailer and paid to have it dumped. The hauling and dumping of roofing debris was also not in the contract. The wood he wanted installed around the dormer was not in the contract and Mr. ******** violented our signed agreement term #12 by trying to hire the subcontractors to do extra work that wasn't authorized by the office. At this point I'm fine with Mr. ******** not paying what is owed to **** ******** just so we can part ways.
