This lawn care business was prepaid for summer mowings. The home owner unexpectedly died and the service has refused to refund the remaining balance. This is unethical and legally questionable. So much for their mantra of 1:16

I have used this company for three years. The first two years were fine. This year, nothing but problems. I have a contract for bi weekly mowing. My yard has been mowed twice since the first of April, and it is now the 31st of May. And it only was mowed that often because I contacted them repeatedly trying to get someone to show up. I have been given the excuse each time that they are having technical issues and they just don't understand why I'm not showing up on their schedule. Someone should have been around to mow 5/25/22. Once more, no show. Contacted their office and received an email that I was on the schedule for 6/2/22. When I pointed out that that was a week past the time they should have been there, I got the same tired excuse about technical issues. **** poor customer service all around.

I had a horrible experience with this company, this was my first experience with obtaining some lawncare to add some appeal to my house, My bad for not doing more research in the first place, I get an estimate of $1500 not realizing that close to $1300 was just for the service itself, they came out and put in maybe 6 hours of work (2) - first I was told I had to put half down to get on the books, then I did that, I asked if I could do a payment plan, they said yes, total lie, once the work was done they wanted the remainder, then I started digging into all of the experience. I waited close to 4 weeks for an estimate, which trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, I didn't say much, finally got the estimate but it did not breakdown, what I consider hidden charges, you see I had two gift cards I wanted to use and they said no problem, I could use them, well they only used one, telling me the bushes/plants I got did not go above that one (equaling $150), but I had a gift card to market basket that I could have used to help pay for the rock, then they call me the day of the scheduled date to tell me they didn't have the rock and could I chose another option, um why wouldn't you have this all planned out before hand, so mainly the rock was $230, I started asking about the charges at this point because it was to be really expensive and I have a little area in which to do landscaping, I got two bushes and some plants out of the deal, and they left a huge bare spot in the front of the house and gave me orange rock, which was not agreed upon, the owner said they are a little higher than other places to make sure to cover expenses and they would be happy to revamp the landscaping at this point I was like no thank you, this has been a horrible experience, and you take over 80% for yourselves as again my **** was $1500 and my rocks (which again I could have used my gift card was only a cost of $230) supposedly it was for rental of items, which I do not think we should be charged for, you are a landscaping business you should have these items unless it's a bogus charge just so you can get more money. I can promise you I will not be recommending or going back to this business.
